Garlic

These days, I changed my eating style to semi-macrobiotic, I mean
"semi" for not intending to but side effect of my familly's life style.

Because of the eating style, I scarecely have animal originated
protein. Also, I don't have stimulus things, too hot, too spicy or
kind of that.

Today, I had a bagle with various kind of spices, includes garlic. I
don't know if it directly effected or not, but I felt that my stomach
works different from usual today.

I think that changing the style is not bad, because the all the things
I have now is absolutely good for my health, but it is boring if I
came to be unable to take stimulus foods.

The balancing is quite difficult.

Soba

I like Soba more than Udon. But the taste of Soba depends on the water
and the flour. In some area far from urban, you can enjoy delicious
Soba.

But in Tokyo, the water is not good, hence the taste of Soba is not so
good even in some expensive restaurant.

Yesterday, I had delicious Soba at Japanese restaurant in the Four
Seasons Hotel. It was absolutely delicious. I guess the water used for
this Soba, even boiling the noodle, is not usual, but mineral water or
kinds.

I want to find some restaurant where I can enjoy delicious Soba in
reasonable cost, but it is absolutely difficult...

Cet difficile

Today, I did programming with VBA. This is not for my essential task, but helping the one of my colleague's tasks.

Just calculating is not difficult at all when you program. The difficult point and I'm not good at is the interface. Actually, there are many functions relevant to interface with VBA, because the task I'm trying to realize reals with excel spreadsheet. You cannot imagine which kind of bug occurs until you try to execute it. There are some specific things with spreadsheet, especially the displaying format.

Another thing that annoys me during programming is system call. Fortunatelly, I don't need system call function for today's program.

Additionally, one of the most important things with programming is to write it easy to understand, using comment, following coding rules, and naming rules. I've learned about the coding rule for java and C / C++, but not for VBA. I'll try to learn it when I have a time. As far as I know, there are not so many people who is strict to these kind of rules for VBA...

Parade of apple

Staub

I've ordered staub yesterday, and today, it arrived at my home.

As you can see, the size is smaller than usual one, but the
specification is same as the bigger ones.

Using staub, you can cook food with no water! Amazing! There is an
explanation that the water inside the food becomes steam, then it
becomes a drop of water when the steam touches the cover of the pot.
Then the drop falls to the food again, and it is the reason why this
doesn't need additional water.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to cooking with this wonderful tool.

Tomato

So cute tomato!

These tomatos came to my house in the box!

It is so fresh one, so I cooked it as cold spaghetti sauce. These kind
of dishes are so favorable in summer seasons!

Doughnut

Today, I'm coming to Jiyugaoka, one of the most fashionable town in
Tokyo.

There is a doughnut shop that I wanted to come for a year, actually
there is a branch shop in Asagaya, my home town, but I had no
opportunity to come to.

The shop is named Hara doughnut, the speciality of this shop is the
ingredient. The doughnut sold at this shop includes Okara, the remain
of making Tofu. Okara includes so many nutrition that it is also used
for some Japanese dishes.

The doughnut was so delicious, not only the smell, but also the
texture. Also there are many unique doughnuts such as Kinako, powder
of soy beans, or spinach.

I tried just two of them, Kinako and plain, hence I'll try other ones
for the next time!

Natural bread

Have you ever tasted German bread? In the ingredients, wild yeast is
used to bake.

Today I had a bread baked with wild yeast. It was really good taste,
it tastes a little sour, the unique taste of wild yeast.

With the bread, I had Echire butter, one of the most famous butter in
the world, imported from France. This is one of my favorite things.

Next month, I'll trip to France, so I'm looking forward to go shopping
and buy many things includes Echire butter.

Paragliding

Can you see what is in this picture?

There is a person paragliding with a fan on the back, and after that,
there are three Koinobori, flying carps colored.

Of course, this is not usual thing, but you can scarecely see it other
than in Japan!

Anyway, it is hard to recognize that there are three flying carps...

Soumen

Today, I had Soumen, cold white noodle made with flour.

Different from usual way of eating, I arranged it like a salad with
noodle.

The toppings are lettuce, carrot, komatsuna-vegitable, seaweed and
koya-dofu, dried soybean curd.

Taste of summer in Japan!

Bonsai

Bonsai, the traditional thing in Japan. This is a miniture garden with
small pine tree.

Can you see the moss on the ground of Bonsai? So beautiful. Perhaps
the sense that I can feel the moss beautiful is unique but sensitive
feeling in Japan I think. When I see, hear, taste and feel the
traditional things in Japan, I always feel that I'm so happy to be
born in Japan.

Kawane

Today, I'm comming to Kawane, near the Senzu station of Oigawa
railway. Oigawa railway is famous for the SL.

There I came here for collecting tea leaves, but I cannot do this
time, because it was too early for it. Ordinary year, this season,
golden week, is the best season for collecting tea leaves, but this
year, it was much colder than usual. Hence the frost was caused and it
damaged the leaves terribly.

Finally, we decided that we should go back to Tokyo and return for
collecting leaves in the mid of May.

I don't know I can come again this year because of my work, but I do
come again in next year and after.

Sushi

Today I'm conning to Shimizu port.

There is a large market which is opened for ordinary people. You can
buy various sea foods. Specifically, Yui is near Shimizu, so you can
enjoy Sakura shrimp, small red shrimps and looks like Sakura, the
cherry blossoms.

I took a lunch here, Nigiri zushi. My favorite one is Anago, the sea
eel, and that was extremely large that it is placed across the board
of dish.

Additionally saying, I like the soup with laver, dried Ulva. The taste
was very natural, feel like the salt in the sea.

I'd like to buy the laver as a suvenier for myself.

Feel like in vacation

Today is the day between national holiday and weekend. Also the day after weekend, we will have another holiday for three days.

Because of this, today's atmosphere of the office was like vacation, everyone is not concentrated, and took longer lunch time.

In terms of myself, I had no emergency task today. So I could spent much time for completing one thing.

I like being busy, but I don't dislike the atmosphere today...

Anyway, from tomorrow, there is a long vacation! Do you have any plan for it?

Arrange

I have started arranging and composing since I was the university student.

Today, I had a chance to play the tune I have arranged for the early time, actually my first arrangement.

Then I realized that I knew so little thing at that time. Anywhere I could find mistook, and unnatural points. So I rearranged the tune today.

Even I have studied arrangement for many years, I haven't felt that I learned so many things. But today, I found that my skill is certainly going up.

I'm going to study more and more.

Park

I like to walk in a park.

One of my favorite place is Shinjuku-gyoen. There are various garden
with various concepts.

In specific seasons, such as cherry blossoms of autumn leaves, there
are so clouded and I can't relax, but mostly there are few people and
I can enjoy the atmosphere.

Last weekend, I went to the imperial palace, and walked across the
Hibiya park. Then I realized that the Hibiya park is also very nice
place. Of course the garden is absolutely nice, also the surroundings
of the park is good. In a few minutes, you can walk to Yurakucho, or
Ginza. Hence there are many cool buildings like a hotel, the Peninshla.

Because it is inconvenient for me to go there, I scarecely go to
Hibiya park. But I'm now thinking of going to there often, also enjoy
running around the imperial palace.

Ice cream

I like ice cream.

I have ice cream not only in summer but every seasons.

I usually have Haagen Datz, and sometimes Thirty-one.

Actually, there are campaigns with Thirty-one, that it discounts 31%
for every 31st days.

Also, this campaign is conducted now. Just yesterday, I went to have
it. I'd like to go one or more times for this chance.

Fresh juice

I went to a food market at the park in front of United Nation
University.

There I had a cup of fresh juice. It includes mango, orange and other
fruits, also it includes various vegitables, such as cabege.

I'm now thinking of making fruits juice by myself. But it requires
juicer, that can crash the ice. I have food processor and hand
blender, so I can crash the fruits and vegitables, but no ice. I look
for some alternative method for it. Can you find any idea?

Charity Run

Today, I participated a charity run, which my company is one of the sponsors. This event is backed up with MAWJ, Make A Wish Japan, and the participation fee is donated to the children who has unfortunately no parents, etc.

In the event, I joined and run a 10 km run. There are many people who is working in the same company as me, and I know, but I have never talked with. So this time, it was very good chance for me to make some connection in my office.

Also, our president John have also participated and run 5 km. He was so fast runner that he made a goal in 22 minutes!

After the 5 km run, there was 10 km run, that I participated. I was very nervous that I could run through it, because these days, I couldn't make a time for running, and I have trained 10 km run for about 2 times. Additionally, many people except for me have run around the imperial palace, but it was the first time for me.

Once I started, I realized there are so long upward slope. First, I thought of downing my speed, but as I have trained, I kept my pace, and finally, I could finish it. The time was 45 minutes! My best score!

One of my colleague have also joined, he was almost athlete, and he completed the 10 km run in 37 minutes, even his condition was bad. After the run, I heard from him about how to make my run faster, and he advised many things.

My interest for running came to be bigger than ever, so I want to continue training, and I will to join more and more running event from now.

Waffle

This waffle is made with whole grain cereal. This tastes very natural,
a little nostalgic.

These days there are so many foods which tastes so strong, includes
too much sugar, salt, pepper and other seasonaries. Additionally
saying, most of the seasonaries are artificial, not natural. Now we
are used to these kind of tastes, and that destroys our sensitivity
or delicacy of our taste. This should be one of the sub-products of
civilization.

Anyway, I like this waffle, and this natural taste, but sometimes I
should want to eat chocolate or French fries...

Translation

This is so difficult to translate public documents. Especially, I'm translating many reguratory documents, specifically saying policy, rule, standard, guideline, etc. These kind of documents includes very specific terms and idioms.

Additionally, there are many technical terms for financial or insurance companies, which are common words but include specific meanings, such as security for bonds, claim for insurance payment, etc.

I joined this company and now just used to the words in Japanese, and from now, I have to learn these words in English.

Memorizing these terms is so exciting, actually my interests for knowledge is very high. Hence now, I'm enjoying the current works.

A Japanese proverb says, ignorance is crime.

Also, a Chinese proverb says, knowing ignorance of yourself.

I know that there are so many things that I don't know, hear and experienced. I will continue learning during whole my life.

Citrus

A sour citrus called Natsu-Mikan, stands for summer orange.

Actually, we can enjoy this in the beggining of spring. The
disagreement of the name and the season comes from the definition of
season in Japan.

Traditionally, such as in Nara or Heian era, the definition of the
season was different from modern one. January to March was called
spring, April to June was called summer, July to September was called
autumn, and October to December was called winter. That is why there
are difference.

Actually the citrus I tasted yesterday was so sour. But once I eat it,
I feel that summer is not so far.

Fried pork?

How do you think when you look at this rice bowl? Fried pork and sauté
of scallop?

Actually, they are all made with vegetable. The fried pork like thing
is a dried paste of rice called "Fu". Also the scallop like thig is
large mushroom! Although that is not real ones, but it tastes like as
if you are eating real ones. The texture is perfectly the same.

I think that it must be good for who adopt macrobiotic for their
health and want to eat meat and sea foods. But eating the real things
is absolutely delicious than fake ones.

My opinion is that we should eat what we want, and we like. This
attitude makes us healthy not only with body but mind.

Fortunatelly, I like these kind of foods, honestly speaking, the foods
which is good for my health. Hence I want to continue this style of
eating.

Dried apple

I purchased a pack of dried apple.

The shop that I bought this was organic one, so this is of course
organic.

But the texture was entirely different from usual dried fruits. In
terms of usual one, there are many sugar on the surface, but this one
is coated with nothing, just apple, that's all!

When you bite this one first, you realize that the texture is so
different, not moistured, but dried. Although, during chewing this,
this absorb the moisture, and tastes just like real apple! Amazing!

I have never experienced this. I want to introduce it to people who
like dried fruits. I believe that this must change the image of dried
fruits.

Brown Rice Cafe

This is a cafe with a shop at Omotesando, named Brown Rice Cafe.

There you can buy various organic goods. These days, I often come to
these kind of shops, maybe my life style and apatite changed, I'd like
to buy good things instead of cheap things.

Of course, there are many things which is not only cheap but also
good. But there should be some reasons for being cheap.

Sometimes, we can see the things good and cheap, but mostly, it is not
good for the environment or the earth.

We mustn't think of just human beings, but whole the nature.

Yesterday, I saw a friend who is living in the rural area of Chiba,
and doing organic farm to live, not to earn money. It was so
impressive for me that there are such people.

Now, I used to live in urban area, and expencing money, and wasting
many things. Consume many artificial things that I can never imagine
where and how it was produced.

I thought that it should be good for me to stop and see, listen feel
the things around me.

Earth day Tokyo 2010

Today, I've been to the event Earth Day Tokyo 2010 at Yoyogi park.

There were various shops and restaurants that sell organic food and
things made with natural materials.

Also, you can see many tents with various NPO that is working for
keeping the earth clean.

There I bought many organic vegitables, especially I found fantastic
shop which is selling carrots. You can try to put carrots into a
plastic bag for 100 yen. During the game, you put carrots into the bag
as far as you can, also it is not necessary that carrots are fully
inside the bag. So even just a little part of carrots are in the bag,
it's ok. Hence when I tried this game, finally I put 10 carrots into
the little bag. They are just 100 yen, can you imagine? I hope I can
try this game on the other organic festivals

After that, I tried the vegan curry and rice, rice ball, and
minestrone soup. They were all made with organic vegitables only, but
absolutely nice!

I want to participate more and more event like this.

Running

Today, I joged for about 10 km. This is a training for the charity run
on next Sunday. At that time, I'm going to run aroud the emperor's
palace, 5 km for each, so I'm going to run around twice.

I have had training for about a month, actually I used to do, but I
quit that because of my work at Nagoya. And I haven't run for 10 km
yet. Hence I tried this time, and finally I could finish it. It was
very appropriate day for running, not too cold, a little cool, and the
air was a little humid, because it rained yesterday.

I hope I can run with the same condition as today when running on next
Sunday.

I've forgot to talk about the photo, this is today's lunch, spare rib

Kazunoko

Kazunoko, the eggs of a fish kind of trout, and put into the salt and
left for a few days. This is one of the traditional food in Japan,
especially we eat this in the new year as a box called Osechi,
assembled food for new year.

I had Kazunoko for tonight dinner. It tasted so nice that I ate extra
portion of rice today.

Strawberry and chocolate

Strawberry, vanilla iced cream, and chocolate.

Do you know the snack named "apolo"? It is a snack consists of two
tasted chocolate, plane chocolate and strawberry. The drink I had
tasted like that snack. I felt some nostalgy with this.

Time cafe

Wooden box with green paper napkin, and put items for eating inside
this.

It looks very warm feeling, also cute one. The coordinate of brown,
green and silver reminds me natural atmosphere.

Wagon cafe

This is a cafe at the last food market at Yoyogi park. This is named
Allo cafe, you can buy crape in this cafe.

The shape of this wagon is so cute, the retro shape and the white roof
makes me feel that. Actually, this type of wagon, Citroen H Van, is
famous for kitchen car at France.

Roll cake

This is a cut of roll cake that I can buy at Hamamatsu, the patisserie
is named Fushie.

All of my familly like this cake, because the sponge is appropriately
wetty, and the texture is absolutely nice.

Also, the cream inside is also nice, it is not too oily and not too
sweet either.

Because the ingredients are very fresh, the eating limit is the day
this cake have baked. This is the only point that I feel inconvenient
with this.

Anyway, this roll cake is one of my favorite foods.

Earth day market

Today, I've been to the earth day market at Yoyogi park.

There many organic shops are there, some of them are selling
vegitables and the other are selling foods, such as bread, curry and
rice, sweet azuki bean soup called Oshiruko, etc.

I had a Taiyaki there, which is one of my favorite foods, and the
Taiyski was absolutely delicious, because the azuki beans inside this
was not too sweet, and the original sweet taste comes out. Having
organic foods, you can enjoy the original taste if vegitables, so I
like this kind of event.

I've heard that there are so many organic event in Tokyo, and you can
enjoy it once a week, so I'm going to check it up from now.

Morning

I've received a present from my friends.

They are a pair of cups, with coaster. As you can see, the cup is not
usual mug cup, but there are silicon bases under the cup, also there
are silicon top, looks like one that is used at some cafe, but it is
made with silicon.

I will be able to feel like at a cafe even having a coffee at home.

Vocabulary

Today, I went to a rehearsal of the orchestra. There a trainer, a violinist who will play solo on the next concert with the violin concerto of Mendelssohn, used many technichal terms that classical music player uses.

Classical music player uses mostly Italian, such as "poco a poco" and "andante". But they also use Germany for calling notes or scales, such as Es dur for E flat major. Also, the chart I'm playing now is arranged by Ravel, so the chart is all written in French, actually French is not popular for classical charts.
Anyway, it is very interesting that many Japanese classical music player uses both Germany and Italian..

X-colleague

Today, I have met with the past team member when I belonged to hp.

Actually, the team I belonged was released after I left there, and many members left the team, so all of the x-colleague whom I met today belongs to other companies.

We talked about the current job, and agreed that the environment of the past project was unreasonable at all. But I think that the worst working environment made me grown up so fast. Therefore I'm now appreciating for my x-boss that he took me into the project.

Fried noodle

Today, I had "Nagasaki Champon". This is consists of fried Chineese
noodle and sauce with vegetables. This is the famous food in Nagasaki,
the origin is not so old, there are a famous artificial island called
"Dejima" in Nagasaki, and there were many foreigners especially from
Dutch in Edo era. Through the place, many foreign cultures came into
Japan, and the traditional culture and the foreign cultures were mixed
up. It is said that the Champon came in at that time.

Anyway I prefer to eat Champon more than other chineese noodle,
because there are various kind of vegetables!

Polar bear

Today is very cold day.

But the polar bear at the zoo seems very confotable swimming in the
cold water.

But actually, he looks very lazy and annoying on very hot day in the
summer.

I don't know which is better to be adaptive body to summer or winter.

Eventually, I think being a human is the best, the body is adaptive to
spring and autumn.

Hanami

I went to Ueno national park, and also went to Ueno zoo.

There many cherry blossoms are blooming that many people came to see
them, this is called Hanami in Japan.

Actually, there are too many people that I can't find if which i'm
comming to see people or flowers.

Anyway, the flowers were so beautiful that I want to see them as far
as I can endure the cold winds.

Fraisier

Today I bought a cup of ice cream by Haagen Datz. This is one of the
line up of Dolce series.

This ice cream consists of vanilla ice cream, spounge and berry sauce.
Tastes so nice! I thought that this is one of the most delicious one
in the Dolce series.

I'd like to buy this one again sooner or later.

Cheeze

Today, I had maccarooni with tomato based sauce. In the sauce, there
are mozzarella cheeze, and it is very interesting to say that I hadn't
heated the cheeze, but put it into the hot sauce, the cheeze melted
with the hot vegitables and became sticky, it made the sauce so
delicious.

I can eat this mozzarella by eating itself with cold tomate, also I
can enjoy it with melted style. Cheeze is very useful!

Rules and regulatories

These days, I have many opportunitis to use English, even writing and reading.

And today, I was ordered to translate a rule for underwriting. Actually, I was used to do translation, I have never treated the rules. It was absolutely difficult to do this, because there are many special idiom and ways of sayings, also there are many technical terms there, it made me very nervous about vocabularies used in the rule.

Finally I've finished that, but maybe there should be so many unnatural expressions there. I'm going to check them up tomorrow.

Vegitable, boiled

Today, I had a macrobiotic style dinner, boiled vegitables with rice,
and vegitable soup.

The soup include the water that was used for boiling vegitables.
You can say vice versa; the boiled vegitables are boiled with the soup.
Because of this way of cooking, the mineral included to the vegitables
came into the soup, and the boiled vegitables tastes a little salty
with the soup. So delicious!

MacBook

Today, I bought a Macbook. This is because the PC that I have been using for about 4 years came to be slower.

Also, these days, I have many chances to use some applications which require high specification on PC.

I have been using Windows with PC for about 15 years, so I have used to the opperation. Thas makes me irritating with using Mac, because the intereface is so different from Windows

Of course, the key layout is mostly the same, but some functional keys, such as ALT, CTRL, ESC and so on, is layouted differently and there are some keys I have never used, like option.

Also, the applications I own are for WIndows. So I have to purchase another one for Mac. Fortunatelly, There are virtual environment for Mac that you can use Windows on it, called Bootcamp. So first of all, I set up the Bootcamp and installed Windows to this computer.

Even the install procedure seems to be difficult when I looked up on the web, it was very simple actually; First, make a partition for Windows on the HD. Second, install Windows OS. Third, install drivers in ordeer to activate the Mac devices on Windows. That's all.

Anyway, there are a few applications for Mac with me, so I'd like to use Windows on the Macbook for the present.

Elephant and a boy

Do you know the story "a boy to be a star", this is a story about a
Japanese boy who became the elephant master. He trained at India to
become a master, then returned to Japan, and became a master of the
elephant which was too childish that no one can control. Then he cared
the elephant, and became the best friends. Unfortunatelly, he
suddenlly died with a car accident, but his elephant is still living.

I was so impressed with this story, because there are many storied
told until now at the elephant park.

Anyway, it was too cold today, so I had to endure the cold winds
during the elephants' show. Of course, the contents of the show was
absolutely nice! Even I felt cold strong winds.

After that we went back to Tokyo, and this trip was over.

Visiting at the parks and playing with animals are very interesting,
if the weather were better situation, it should be more and more
enjoyable one!

Blooming season

Today, I'm comming to Chiba with some of my friends.

During this travel, I'm planning to many places to enjoy animals and
the nature.

First of all, we went across the Tokyo bay, and went to the parking
area named "umi hotaru", this is the only parking area in Japan that
is floating on the sea. There we enjoyed the sea breeze, and the sea
around us for 360 degree.

Then, we went to "the mother farm". There are many animals like sheep,
goat, pig, duck and geese. Also there are many spring flowers
blooming, so beautiful!

Then, I went to "the Nokogiri mountain". There the mountain is famous
for the temple on the mountain, also very large statue of Buddha.
The scenary was so nice, we can see Yokohama beyond the Tokyo bay from
the top of the mountain. There is one interesting thing with it. This
is that the wall of the mountain is just right to the ground, 90
degree, also the wall was flat, very artificial. The reason why the
mountain is that , from Edo era, the mountain is famous for cutting a
stone for some buildings. Because people cut the stone frome the
mountain, the walk is artificially flat. The stone is used for the
Yokohama base, Yasukuni shrine, and Waseda university.

Then we drove a road full of flowers, named the flower line. But
actually, this year, there are very low temperature days, so the
flowers were not so many as we have expected.

And this travel continues to tomorrow...

System background

These days, I feel that it works good to have system background. Actually my x-company is a IT company, there I've learnt about designing software, managing database and many other things related to system.

First, I've think that the background doesn't work at all for working at other companies, but there are so many tasks in which you can utilize the knowledge of system, because in almost all the tasks we do, we use PC there, and many systems. And there you install new system for automating or achieve efficiency with that. And there you need the knowledge of system implemnting it.

Therefore, I think my job history was not bad, mostly favorable one these days.

Chef's bank

Today, I participated an event named "chef's bank". There you can eat
some plates which are made by brand new chefs. Today, I had some
Italian plates. Actually they tasted a little salty and also oily,
totally, they tasted good, includes the wine and the cost performance,
but with each plates, they were not enough delicious to mark full score.

I want to participate more and more times to this event.

White wall, wooden table

Today I changed the places for TV. Then the place came to be empty, so
I placed a table and some little objects there.

Wooden table mutches the white wall so much. I want to coordinate this
room as my ideal room gradually by placing these kind of things.

Vegan?

Yes, I'm not a vegan, but I prefer to eat vegetables, because when I'm
eating them, my body goes well, and I feel like fine

Spring roll

Today I'm comming back to my home town, and eating the dishes made by
my familly.

Spring roll is one of my farorite foods. This dinner is so nice for me!

Afternoon tea

I had an afternoon tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Chinzanso in Tokyo.

This is the first time for me to have the afternoon tea. It tastes
absolutely nice, especially the scone just baked was fantastic!
As this is the season with cherry blossoms blooming, so almost all the
dish included sakura; the scone included sakura flower, the ice cream
was on the sakura leaf, etc.

Also, the atmosphere was perfect, through the window, you can see
beautiful garden, and the three floored Japanese style tower was
there, unfortunately, it was too early to sea the cherry blossoms
blooming, the garden was beautiful enough to satisfy my heart.

There are many events related to cherry blossoms in Four Seasons
Hotel, such as "Sakura Viking".

I want to enjoy this season now and this time.

Houtou with miso soup

Today's dinner;

Houtou with a cup of miso soup made with le creuset.
Houtou is a traditional noodle, like udon, in Yamanashi. The structure
is very similar to udon, but a little harder than it.
And the miso soup includes various kind of vegetables.
It tasted so nice!

Run or practice

These days, I started to jog for the charity run in the end of April.

Actually, I like running as well as practicing the instrumental. I think there are common thing between these two.
Both of them require myself to continue doing it, and try many many times. Each case seems a little trial, but during continuing it, your skill becomes gradually better.

Now I'm wondering which to do tonight, run or practice. Which do you think I should do now?

Debug

I don't like debugging, because, designing an architecture is more interesting than debugging.

Especially, findind a bug written by other is absolutely nervous. It start from understanding the specification, estimating the architecute, and then find bugs.

But reading codes written by other is helpful for developing your skill, through reading and understaning the code, you will find which is better way to write, and understandable one.

Even there are many things that you can get from debugging, still I dons like debugging.

Bagle with cheeze

I like bagle, especially blueberry bagle with cream cheeze.

These days, I've bought a half dozen of plain bagle. So I ate it with mozzarella cheeze and saut d mushroom. Absolutely nice!

These should be various recipe for bagle. I want to try more and find my favorite one as nice as the blueberry bagle with cream cheeze.

Sports

These days, it became warmer, so I decided to start jogging.

First of all, I bought a jogging ware, also I've entry a charity run, one of the event of my company.

Next weekend or later, I'd like to buy a jogging shoes, one that I already have is not for jogging, and it feels like the base so thin, so I want new one for actual jogging.

But I worry about one thing that if it turns cold again, I can continue or not. It depends on the strength of my mind.

Spring comes?

Today, the temperature turned up to 18 degree, celcius. It makes me think that spring is comming.

A Japanese quote says "three cold days, then four warm days". It means that spring comes not straight, but becomming gradually warmer sometimes being cold.

Last week, it was so cold, but these days it is very warm. Spring is comming.

Costoco

I went yo costoco by one of my friends' car.

Actually I have been there sone times before, but today I bought some things for having a party.

We bought some large dishes that I never buy with my self, then returned to my home, then had a party with them. It was so fun! But today, we didn't buy somethings which are too impacted, the tiramisu 1.3kg, raw beef 5kg etc.

All of us were agreed to go to BBQ through buying many things at costoco.

I'm so looking forward to this event comming true.

FSH

Today I had a chance to have a dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo.

It was absolutely delicious that the portion of each dishes were not large, but I was so satisfied with them.

Especially, the soup and apertif tastes excellent.

The apertif was consists of some raw fishes like trout, and there latatouille was also placed on the same plate.

And the soup was made with cauliflower and aspalagas, it seems so creamy, although it tastes so smooth, not fat taste.

Of cause, other dishes are as delicious as these two, but they were my favorite two.

I hope I can have dinner at here again some days.

Seminar

Today I've participated a seminar in which topic is operatinal risk quantization.

There are three large regulatory for that, EU solvency II, BIS Basel II, and the regulatory by FSA, Japan.

It is very difficult to adapt and utilize operational risk quantization for a board. Because there are many barrieres. One is the resistants for collecting operational risks, because it takes additional administration to collect operational risks. The other is that it is quite difficult to persuade the board, because it is not clear that collecting operational risks and quantizing it works for the board's decision.

There were some hints for these difficulties in today's seminar. I hope I can feedback it to my work.

Routine

Even a little routine includes risks if you don't care the procedure.

These days, I've ordered to do so boring task. It is just printing out a materials of past committees. But during the task, there are many typos and also there are personal informations which must be masked.

So I have to check every materials, then print them out. It seems to be so boring and simple, but i have to pay much attention to do this.

Actually, I have to do this task as much as three times of today's amount. I hope I won't be crazy with this task.

Samosa

I like curry.

Snows, sherbet

It is so cold day today, that the rain turned to snow, actually it was so wetty like sherbet.

Now it is already March, and the ground hog day has passed, but I feel like mid of winter... Still far from spring.

In spring, there are hay fever with me, so I wonder which is better for me to be still cold or annoyed with hay fever.

Blood

Today, I did blood donating at my office. About twice a year, the event comes at the office.

I have donated my blood last July, and there were a campaign there that if it is the second time or later, I can get some novelty goods.

As I wrote, I've did it last year, and it is the second time in this office, so Ive got a tumbler.

I was just searching for one, so I was pleased with it, but it looks not good, actually. There was a character of Japan Red Cross. I wonder who is going to use this with this drawing...

Concert, strings

I had a concert, not a gig, today.

The band was the one that is consists of alumni of Gakugei-daigaku fuzoku high school, one of the member invited me to the band.

There we played string symphony written by Britten, English composer.

The play today was the best one, I think, except for one mistook with me...

But in general, the play was so interesting, and we enjoyed it.

We are going to have another concert at October. I was already invited to play there. I'm going to practice hard for that.

Wedding

I had a wedding party at Chinzan-so today. The two married are my friends, so my friends and I played at the party.

Actually, it is a little hard to play at someone's wedding party because I can never mistake at the party. But once we could play good tunes, all of us becomes extremely happy.

I heard that the bride's mother is sick in bed just today, and she had so hard days to make the wedding party by herself.

Almost all the participants in the party was moved with the episode, also, her father wrote a letter to her, it also moved us.

I hope the two will be happy forever.

Workaholic?

Today is the day I go to the rehearsal for the orchestra.

But I had a task that must be done until Monday morning. That is because I worked instead of going to the rehearsal.

Am I workaholic? How do you think of it?

Movie

Now, I'm making a movie with some photo of my childrenhood. The software I'm using is very useful, named Microsoft movie maker. First, I thought it is the software for editing movie, but not only movies, it can arrange some photoes and musics.

It is very interesting to make movie, editing photoes, but just one thing I have to care is that it takes longer than I'm expected, it makes me sleep very late.

Planning

To plan for a travel is very interesting. Mostly, it is defficult, when you have so many places to go during the travel.

Today, I was planning for a travel in the end of this month. The destination is Chiba, so near from where I live, but there are so many things to do that I want.

It is hard to manage the things in only two days, but it is quite interesting!

Macro

Today, I've wrote a program with vba on excel.

I have been writing programs with various languages; c, c#, c++, perl, java, matlab, etc. Actually, the language vba is mostly like c#, because both of them are developed by Microsoft.

I started programming with vba after started to work. So I didn't know how the language is, the vocabulary and the grammer.

Now I studied almost all the basic functions of vba, simple calculation, standard in/out, and system call.

But there are many functions using excel worksheet functions with vba, such as making a table on the spreadsheet, and using complexed analysis, like solver or regression analysis.

I want to study more about vba with utilizing it for market risk.

Niseko, the last day

Last night, it snowed a lot, so I could experience the snow field absolutely different condition from yesterday.

It was covered with very soft snow, that I could hardly go straight with a snow board!
