happy new year

today is the first day in 2008.

this year,

i'd like to be the man

this year, there were many new events,

and i could meet many, many people,

and also, i could experience many many new things.

today, i met a friend of mine in hamamatsu.

we went to game center, and karaoke,

and some temple, and then to Sentou.

we played all the night,

this kind of playing is like univ. student, haha

it was so nice time.

these two days are so fulfilled days.

today, i had a party at my hometown,

it is about the 30th anniversary of my parents' wedding.

but it was hidden that we, my sister and me, will cereblate that,

so my parents became so happy when we took cake and present to them.

it was so nice time, today.

actually, all the dishes were made by my mother...

today was the last day in nagoya in this year.

we had a year end party in our project room.

then, one member told some of his funny stories,

i went to post office to receive stock options, today.

they are not large amount,

but they help my usual life,

and i can eat a little rich lunch today.

today, i had a mtg for discussion of the task

which i'm related the most of the members in my project.

most time,

the mtg is filled with questions,

so we presenter cannot tell what we want to say,

but this time,

we made some schedule and strategy,

so we can go on the mtg smoothly.

i thought this kind of preparation is very important for organizing mtg.

i went to Isetan Shinjuku to buy dinner dishes.

there were so many people

that i have to make a line

to buy almost every food.

mmh, i wish many people to take christmas dinner at some restaurants, not home.

ginza

today, i went to ginza.

there were extraordinary nu,mbers of people.

so i could hardly walk as i think.

but the atmosphere and illumination was so beautiful.

i don't care about christmas,

but i like this kind of happy atmosphere.

today, i had a live at Suidobashi.

the members are trio whom i olways play at big band called miggy+,

and there are two really nice horns,

Mr Kuwata on trumpet, and My Ishikawa on tenor sax.

the play was extremely cool,

and i really enjoyed the play even i am the member...

i'd like to play as this quintet again, future.

today,

i was filled with good sounds...

eggs

i ate many many eggs today.

not eggs of birds, but of cod ovum.

it is called Mentaiko.

it is absolutelly delicious.

i can eat many many dishes of rice with it.

these days,

i always have ice cream on dinner,

of course,

i always buy Haagen Dazs, Dolce series.

the mont blanc is really delicious.

i'd like to have it everyday if i can.

there are not many restaurants near my project room.

so we project members try to go new one,

sometimes, it tastes better than we have expected,

but mostly, the quality is not better than our imagine.

but i don't want to go to convenience store even in night,

because i always eat dinner at convenience store these two monthes.

so i continue trying to search new restaurant...

letter

i received a letter from one of my friends.

that letter is once sent to the hotel,

an i received it from the concierge.

mmh, not bad feeling.

i'd like to utilise this system,

for receiving something which i bought on net shop

these days,

i always stay at hotels in weekdays,

for business travel.

today,

i came to new hotel

which is more near to the Nagoya station than one

which i have stayed untill last week.

in the hotel,

there are not large room,

but there are lager bathtab in the room than before.

i decided that i'd like to stay at hear until this project finishes.

yesterday,

i had a Nabe party at one of my friends's house,

the party continued to late at night,

and i could sleep less than 3 hours,

so i am too sleeeeeeeeeepy today,

but i have 2 rehearsals.....

today, i had a live at Ogikubo.

on this live,

our band started activity on august , 2007

and we play 80's jazz,

such as joe henderson.

the live was kind of difficult,

this means that the selection of the tunes

is not easily acceptable for one

who doesn't listen to jazz.

but we members enjoyed thestage,

and we had a Nabe party at one of the member's home.

i can't stop playing music.

today, i had a presentation at my customer

i made the slides for the presentation, i was a little nervous about it

there were some discussions to select one suggestion from three which we suggested

but finally, our reccomended one was accepted!

that one was the most complexed one, but the most cool one,

so ithought i did it on my mind

it came to be interesting to do this job!

yesterday, i haven't go out with umbrella,

and i caught in rain,

so i went to office with umbrella today.

but in the morning,

there was no rain,

and when i went out to lunch,

there wasn't either.

but when i went back to office from cafe,

there were raining.....

how unfortunate it is...

today my boss caught a cold,

and he was absent.

i had been receiving tasks from him,

so i was a little annoyed about that,

it is first time i receive it,

and as soon as possible,

i tried to check the price.

it was so nice feeling,

and i imagined what to buy...

some days ago,

new product was released by Haagen-Dazs.

it was one of the series of Dolce,

and was called "Mont Blanc"

i absolutely like mont blanc.

and when i go to cafe on autumn,

almost all chance, i eat mont blanc.

and i tried that today for the first time.

it was really delicious!

and i'd like to eat one everyday.

i went to Tokyo International Forum

to go to the concert of Hiromi Uehara.

i have been the same high school as her,

so i have a little common feeling with her.

today was the second chance that

i listen to her play,

the first one was when i was high school student,

and she played on the school festival.

today, her play was so cool,

needless to say, the very very fast play,

and also, her ballad was absolutely nice,

that i want to buy one of her CD of ballad.

i'd like to go t oher concert again...

pot pie

today, i ate pot pie at my home.

in winter, the atmosphere is so clear

but it is sometimes too cold.

when the more i feel the coldness,

i come to think of eating pot pie.

the one which i ate today was

one of the most delicious one

that i have ever eat.

today, there was a accident on JR.

and because of it,

this means,

there a professional trombone player, Yuzo Kataoka ,

is going to play as a guest player.

the practice on today,

he came to the refearsal and rectured to the members.

every pointed things are critical things,

and the sample play played by him was so cool play,

and all the members were so interested in that.

i'd like to, no, i HAVE TO practice harder and harder, i thought.

wedding

today, i've attend to the wedding party of

one of my friends in high school.

it was on a guest house in Daikanyama.

the place was so nice place,

and all the dishes are so delicious.

but most of all,

the married two seemed to be so happy.

mmh, i received happy feeling there.

today i have been the party

that the members in same class

on the training of company.

although there r few members in the party

(that is becaus i could attend to the party on 22:30)

i really enjoyed the party

and talking with many friends.

there r this kind of party once a month,

so i'd like to attend to it, when i can.

these days, i can understand what my boss is discussioning about.

that is, i came to be used to the job,

and also

i know enough about the job or project.

understanding makes me to study more about this project.

these days, i'm using computer

almost all the day.

today, i had a party with my project members in Nagoya.

it was a small party,

in former party in last month,

i sat in front of one of my customer,

so i had to order for him and listen to him,

but today, fortunately, i could it in the part

where almost all the member was familiar to me.

so i could enjoy the party today.

today, i was a little nervous

because i have to go to Nagoya tomorrow, again,

and the usual life in Nagoya.

but when i practiced,

my annoying went away,

wedding party

i had awedding party of my friend today.

i had played some tunes there.

i had selected the tunes

by reading the lyrics of the tunes.

some jazz standard pieces are

about their happy feelings,

but most of them are

about their sad feelings,

such as about x-girlfriend, someone whom he cannot marry.

so the selection was so difficult that i could decide the tunes

by excepting sad songs.

our play was not good, it was because we had only one rehearsal,

but i wish the married two were happy to hear our play, i hope.

beaujolais

I had a party named "Beaujolais and Home made Bread"

I've got a Home Bakery this birthday.

Till then, I'm so intersted in home made bread,

And about twice a month,

I make a bread.

Today, I have made a fruit bread,

It include cherry, raisin and apple,

what a delicious sound it is!

It fulfilled the members at the party,

And also, Beaujolais was good!

Today is nice day.

today, i went to Gotemba outlet mall.

i've heard about that,

but i've never go there,

so i was so interested in it.

actually,

there were so many shops,

that u cannot see al the items in all the shops there.

i bought a coat for casual.

and,

i had so many handmade bread today.

my girlfriend have made them.

they were so delicious,

that i can eat one after another.

what a wonderful day today is.

this week passed so fast,

because this friday is one of the japanese holiday,

so i'm looking forward to go home,

i have read a story about her on a comic,

and also, i watched a movie last year.

i had a wedding party today.

it was in Kobe,

correctly say, it was between Kobe and Osaka.

it was really happy time.

the two who just married seemed

this is the second day that we casted the "little carrots" seeds.

when i came to the office,

one seed has sprouted!!!

i was really happy.

i thought that music has been the tool that expresses people's various feelings.

today, i was planned to practice at a live house,

where i used to have a live.

but today, unfortunately,

the master has overslept,

and i couldn't start practice for about 1 1/2 hours.

today, i had two meeting.

and int the one,

there had a presentation that is based on the screen mockup

which i have made from tuesday.

i was a little nervous,

but the presentation was nice one,

and the customer was satisfied with the screen.

i go to convenience stores very often.

that is because

that i am going to business trip every week,

and during the trip,

almost every breakfast and dinner is managed in convenience store.

unfortunately, i have no time to go out to have dinner...

last month, one famous noodle restaurant opened near my house.

the name of the restaurant is Taishoken.

in the restaurant, u can increase the amount of noodle.

today, i had many accidental things during working,

so i was a little irritated.

thus, i ordered the increased amount.

it was triple amount of regular amount...

first, when i saw that, i afraided that i cannot finish,

but finally, i could eat all of them.

but i don't want it again...

exam

i had an exam to take a license,

which is recommended for system engineer.

actualy, i had no time to study for this exam this month,

so i couldn't prepare enough.

in spite of this situation,

i could answer alnmost all the questions,

i'm not sure that i could pass the exam,

anyway, the exam was over,

and i can concentrate on my job.

i went to eat sukiyaki at Imahan,

the most popular sukiyaki restaurant in Japan.

the taste was really delicious,

and also, the service was also absolutely good.

i'd like to go there again in my life.

i had a chance to say in the meeting today.

because, my boss was too busy to attend to the meeting,

and another boss talked about the topic which he had to talk.

then, one of customer asked a question,

it was really bad one, it must tried to guess if we know well about it,

fortunately, the topic was which i researched,

i'm comming to Nagoya this tuesday by business travel,

but i haven't ate popular Nagoya food,

so i decided to eat one of them today.

in the tower which our office placed,

there is one restaurant which serves one of popular Nagoya food, Nabeyaki Udon.

i went to the restaurant today.

it was absolutely good!

but the amount was a little too much.

i'd liketo go there more and more times.

in spite of that,

my pachira is becomming bigger and bigger.

it was so exciting,

today, i had a party at my home.

and i cooked many diches.

but when i am too busy,

today, i went to the restaurant.

fortunally, one of this restaurant is near my house,

and i can go there in 5 minutes.

this is because i had a meeting with a great pianist,

she was selected to a Jazz Master this year.

and she is fond of wine, so a member in my band arranged

to meet with her and have a dinner and wine.

it was so great time, and also, pretty good dinner and wine.

i have never tasted such a delicious wine.

i'd like to go to this kind of restaurant in a future.

on a holiday,

get up a little later than usual.

and have a brunch.

how luxrious it is.

yokohama

i had a live at yokohama,

where there is a festival, called Yokohama Jazz Promnade.

during this festival, u can see and listen jazz music

everywhere in yokohama.

the live was at the dock yard,

under the yokohama landmark tower.

the wind was so strong that almost all scores cannot be placed

on the music stand without clips or tape.

sometimes, my scores are to fly awasy,

so i had to place the score with many and many tapes.

the last number which our band played was called "wind machine",

during playing this number, the wind was too strong,

that one of my friends said to me "ur play was the real wind machine!"

ginza

i had a dinner with one of my friend, today.

the dinner was at Ginza.

i cannot feel like home in this place,

because many people seems to live in different part from my place,

and also, many buildings seems too luxuly...

i wonder if the day comes or not when i can feel like home in this place...

i had a meeting with a customer company today.

needless to say, it was my first time to go to see customer.

i was very nervous, but busy for taking a note,

but actually, i cannot understand many words

which my boss and customers talking about,

so i really felt that i have to study, and know about many things,

this business field, engineering, and many things.

today, i had my first business trip to Nagoya.

i have passed Nagoya for transfering for many times,

but i had visited Nagoya and sight saw only 2 times.

so, i was looking forward to this trip,

but actually, i had no time to see around Nagoya today.

i was just in the office and did some tasks for project.

i hope that i had some time to walk around tomorrow, after work.

OCUP

today, i had a examination.

it is called OCUP, stands for

OMG-Certified UML Professional Program.

briefly speaking, it is a license for UML technologist.

i have never studied about UML before,

but during studying this,

i was very interested in this logical system.

fortunally, i had passed this exam,

but i'm going to continue studying UML.

busy, but not busy

these days, i often feel i am busy,

but actually, i can finish work (correctly say, it is a training) on 17 or a little later.

so, i wonder what makes me so busy.

today, i noticed one thing about myself.

it is that i often feel busy if there are something to do with responsibility

or something which i do for the first time.

this week, i have a business trip, which is my first trip.

i'd like to be carm if there are something strange with me.

Chick, again

fortunally, i have a chance to hear the live of Chick Corea again.

today, the band was not trio, but a duo with banjo player.

i don't know well about banjo,

so i cannot say his play was good or not,

but the only thing that i can say is

that Chick's play was fantastic.

i wish there the audience known a little more about music,

not just a music, but large means.

that is because there sometimes be a scene

that some audiences destroyed the atmosphere which musicians had made...

newspaper

i'm daily reading newspaper every morning,

but if i have drunk too much the day before,

or i have something to do in the morning,

i miss to read the newspaper on the day.

there are 3 or more newspaper on the floor of my house.

i'm going to read them sooner or later, no, sooner!

firework

i went to a firework festival in Chofu city.

actually, i was not expected that the firework should not be so nice,

but once the festival started, i realized i was wrong.

the firework was so fantastic that i have ever seen.

also, there was no too many people around the space,

so i really enjoyed the time.

the only point that i was not satisfied is

that the music which should be synchlonized with the firework

was not synchlonized, to say, decreases the atnmosphere

which was built with former fireworks.

anyway, the whole feeling which i felt during the festival was FANTASTIC!

Chick

today, i went to a live at blue note tokyo.

i went to see / listen to the music of Chick Corea trio,

which was consists of Chick Corea, John Patitucci, and Antonio Sanchez.

the musica was so fantastic

that i have just to say "yah" in a loud voice...

actually, i cannot believe why others can stay cool

when listening to their music.

the stage was so fantastic,

and also the music was very cool.

i'd like to see Chick Corea's stage more times in my life.

connection

to be connected with some one is a happening.

sometimes, one leaves,

and othertime, u may meet some one another.

but it is only a happening.

i'd like to think it not just a happening,

but very important thing.

because, there comes a leaving suddenly, too.

these days, almost all days, i drink.

this must be no good for my lever...

today, i met a person who invited me to his band.

and we talked at a sushi restaurant.

then ate sushi, and sashimi,

then drunk japanese-sake, and wine.

i hope this kind of days should be with me...

maybe, today was a little luxuary,

but i wosh my daily life be alittle more luxuary.

and then my mind should be a little happier and...

the dream spreads more and more.

phone call

some days ago, one of my friends in hong kong came to japan,

and today, he called to me, suddenlly.

actually i have told him my phone number,

and he said that he will call to me,

but i was not prepared for that,

so once i hear an english voice from cell phone,

i was really astonished and no english phrase came out from my mouth...

speaking on the phone is very difficult,

because there u cannot see his expression from seeing him,

and also, u cannot compensate ur words with gestures.

i thought it is very good way to train english to call to some one on the phone.

java

yesterday, one of my friends asked me

to build a heap sort algorithm in java language.

but yesterday, there was a live concert

in which i my band perform,

so i started coding today midi.

it seemed kind of easy task,

but soon after i started that,

i could not correct some bug, little but critical.

some minutes later,

i noticed that was caused with the way to use some method

(i was still writing a Java code like C++ code)

i realized that it is important to be used to this kind of language...

live

today, i had a live.

this live is performed with my own big band.

i really enjoyed playing with this band,

and needless to say, i really love the members of my band.

when i finished the live,

we the members went to a bar,

and talked about 7 or more hours.

today was absolutely good day!

work

i've got up early today,

and went to the office earlier than usual.

then, finished some work which was remaining from yesterday.

then, i finished some assignments which should be done in today,

and soon after the whole training finished, i went to a concert.

i have passed today very efficiently, and enjoyed.

now, i'm very fulfilled.

tomorrow, i'm going to have a live concert of my own band.

i can sleep with no worry today.

meeting

there was a first meeting for me

in which i have assigned.

and then, i took a note for conference minutes.

in my project , usually, there is a meeting as long as 3 hours.

actually, some meetings in other projects takes 7 or 8 hours,

so it is fortunate case with me.

but taking a note for 3 hours is not easy thing,

and especially, showing some action items in the end of the meeting,

which is a rule (or decided with the account of my project),

is absolutely tough thing, i felt today.

the meeting on today continued to 21:00,

and after that, i and some of my project members have another meeting,

thus when i return home, it was 22:00...

i afraid that this IS a work,

but i hope effectively working should reduce this kind of works...

bug

today, when i just play my iPod,

the screen freezed...

had i treated iPod so badly?

or are there any bug on the software?

fortunally, when i connect the iPod with my PC at home,

but i'm afraid about happening this phenomena again...

today, i was so irritated with one of my friends in company.

these days, we new hired finished trainig,

and started On-the-Job-Trainig.

so actually, we are not contributing to company,

and still creating nothing.

then, today, we had a meeting with members

who belong to the project which i assigned.

and the meeting was extended, so we had overtime job.

then, one of my friends said about if the overtime wage.

but i think, we were jus joining the meeting,

and we are less usefull than notepads or pencils.

so, i was kind of irritated during listening his moaning.

i decided to be a person who can work effectively.

i went a trip to Izu-Kogen,

then, it was burned and sent to

one of the member's house,

so i and some members who gent to Izu together

it was more real than i have expected.

today, when i returned to home,

i found that the vase of a plant was broken outside the window.

i have put it on the wall of my house,

but there is not balanced enough

when it is windy day.

i was very shocked to find it

because the plant has been growing up very quickly

so i'm going to buy new vase tomorrow.

post birthday

today, some of my friends had a party for my birthday.

actually, my birthday was 6 days before,

but that day, i had something to do,

so the party was postponed to today.

then, i was taken to the restaurant

in which almost all the menu include garlic!

which cannot be orderd without reservation,

was so delicious that i was fully satisfied.

and then, they gave me some presents.

they were so distict goods,

but one of them was so curious.

with this kit, u can grow up a Yakusugi ceder.

but reading the instruction, there was the phrase below,

it takes 3 or 4 years to grow up one seed to a little tree,

then u can make Bonsai with it

and there was another phrase,

u have to give water everyday,

especially in summer, u have to give two times a day

...

it seems a long long way that i can see the Bonsai with Yakusugi ceder

today, i ate some deliciouc foods from Hokkaido

because one of my friends have took them from his home town

(his home town is Sapporo, one of the biggest city in Hokkaido)

and also, i brought sea eal from Hamanako.

this night was a gourmet night,

and i was so fulfilled with them.

these days, i really feel

that i'm so happy to be friends with many of my friends now.

in the project which i've assigned in the department,

we will deal with some companies which is placed in Nagoya.

because of it, i'm going to have a first business journey in mid of Oct. for Nagoya

and it remains for 3 to 5 days, so i will stay at Nagoya during weekdays.

it seems a little hard to me now, but also very exciting.

i'm going to do my best to distribute to our team members,

and also grow myself.

wedding

today, i received a mail,

that invites me to a wedding party at Kobe.

the two who is to marry is eldermen\mber of my circle in univ,

so i'm so happy to hear that they are to marry.

also, it is the first time that i receive a inviting mail formally

(i've already received some, but they were from my cousin, or some of my familliar friend,

so i've never received such kind of mail)

i'm looking forward to joining the party although it is 3 months later.

yesterday was my first day after assignment,

but there was no task there, so substantially,

today was the first day to do something in my office.

i was told by my mentor, who takes care of me for one or less year,

to read some paper for a project which i will join on Oct.

but before reading that, i was told to make a plan.

i was just finished the training about making plan using TOR,

but i couldn't notice about writing one.

i was so disappointed with me...

on the job, it is usual thing and expected thing

to make documents for any little activity, i have noticed by making faillure today.

i'm going to think about it before everything.

today is my birthday.

today is very joyous day in China, i heard.

every time i go to their live, i notice one thing.

that music is not only a sound, but it includes staging and any other techniques.

even if their sound should be really good thing,

everyone canot notice the value of the sound if the stagin is not good enough.

two weeks later, i have one live which is performed by my own band.

i really suppose that i should prepare for the MC same as music.

filled with rehearsal

today was so busy, no, so fulfilling day.

'cause, i had three rehearsals, one is my own band,

and second is the combo that i have just started a month before,

and the last one is a bigband with many eldery people than me.

when i think of the h\last one band,

i really feel that encounter is not accident, but certainty.

and then, a theory come up to my thought.

that is Planned Happenstance Theory.

this theory means that people who succeeds always say that they are doing usually things,

and they are doing no special efforts,

but in spite of these words, they are ALWAYS doing their best to realize their dream.

i supose that this way of thinking is very encouraging,

and also reminds me that usual effort is VERY important.

farewell?

today, i have a farewell party with my companies.

that is because we will be announced about our assignments,

and then, some of my frineds should go to west area of japan.

so, i and some of my friends missed this party,

and we talked until there comes the last train.

there MUST be some encounters, and same numbers of farewells.

we human should be grown up with each encounter, and farewell, i think.

Typhoon

Today, there comes a typhoon in japan.

This typhoon is called fitow, which means the name of flower.

Do you know how these typhoons are named?

From 2000, typhoons which appeared around Japan is named following this rule.

I have never heard about this rule.

By the way, today, I have planned to meet one of my friends,

but I've heard that thetyphoon fitow is approaching to Japan,

and it will land on Japan on midnight,

so we hesitated the wind and rain, and postponed to meet to next week.

I hope that there are no typhoon next week.

(Actually, I wish the typhoon to go away on this Saturday,

because I have so many things to do on this Saturday,

and I have to move so many times...)

MECE

Today, had a training about proposition techniques.

Because of that there are tradition in my company,

there are some tools that makes propositions easy.

some of them should be restricted to my company,

but there also be some that should be common.

One of them is MECE, and another is Why So? / So What.

First one is well known for collecting elements for discussion,

which stands for Mutually Exclusive / Collectively Exhaustive.

And the other is used for prooving the consistency between two things.

I practiced these techniques today and trained for actual proposition.

It was very difficult, and very confusing,

but once this way of thinking realized,

the logic of thinking becomes very clear, it is so interesting.

I'd like to apply these techniques in many situations that needs logicality.

美しい内装と、部屋もさることながら、

なだ万離宮での夕食と、

トリアノンでの朝食に、

身も心も癒されてきました。

やはり、一流のサービスの中にいると、

自然と、体が浄化されていく気がします。

そのときがあまり正気ではなかったことを認識して、

ということは、結局、みんな、自分中心にしか、考えていないということかな。

他人を気遣うことのできる、

この歳になって、

本番で、早くなりがちなのは、

緊張して、鼓動が高まってしまうから。

だからといって、あえて遅く演奏する必要はない。

観客の鼓動を高められるような、「イエイ」なプレイができれば、

それでいいのではないかな、と思ってみる、

となりにあった、Royal Copenhagenの商品に惹かれてしまい、

結局、当初買う予定だったものではないものを、買ってしまいました。

でも、今日発売し始めた、新作、ということだったので、

きっと、喜んでくれるに違いありません。

それにしても、銀座の街は、

どうも、気取っていて、馴染めません。

明日の試験、うからなそうです。

ここは、おとなしく、きっぱりあきらめて、

教育支援を行っています。

ちょっとおもしろそうなので、

参加してみることにしてみました。

やっぱり、子供と戯れるのは、

楽しい。

職場で使用するためのPCを、

配布されました。

私の勤務先は、WWに事業を展開しているため、

PCのベースは英語で作られており、

UIにパッチをあてて、日本語化しているようです。

そのためか、気まぐれに、

OSや、アプリケーションが、英語で立ち上がってくれたりします。

ほかにも、会社のポータルサイトに、

WWで共通の部分に関しては、

英語でのインストラクションが書かれていたりと、

なんだか、よくわからない構造になっています。

英語を勉強しなきゃいけないな、と

思ってみる、今日この頃です。

先日のライブの後(23時)から、

本郷にある旅館で行われたライブの打ち上げは、

結局、5時まで続き、

今日は、3時間睡眠の下、帰宅。

そして、新宿で、社会人生活で入用になった

ものたちを買ってきました。

明日からは、

お弁当生活です。

それにしても、

以前は徹夜なんてものともしなかったのに、

最近は、睡眠不足によって、

集中力の大幅な低下につながってしまっている現状に、

年を感じます。

今日は早めに休もう。

今日は、miggy+のライブ。

9月に乗り始めてから、2回目の本番ですが、

ライブハウスでの定期公演にのるのは初めての経験。

初めて、ということで、

緊張で、震えたり、

力みすぎてへとへとになるかと思っていたら、

ひたすら楽しすぎて、誰よりもはしゃいでしまいました。

"お客さんを楽しめるよりも、まず、自分自身が楽しまなければ"という言葉を、

以前、知り合いのミュージシャンから聞いたことがありましたが、

逆に、自分が楽しみすぎてしまったかな、と

いまさら反省。

とはいえ、楽しかったー。

今日は社会人になって初の金曜日。

というわけで同期飲みです。

158名の同期のうち、

なんと130名が参加する、

大イベントと相成りました。

アジアンキッチンをほぼ貸切状態にして、

ビュッフェ形式、カクテルは目の前で店員さんがサーブ、という

異例の経験をしてしまいました。

とはいえ、それだけ人数がいると、

なかなかじっくり話をすることもできず、

結局、名前を覚えているのは、数名。

まあ、同期の仲がいいということは、

いいことです。

そういえば、明日は本番。。。

明日で終わりです。

practice, practice and practice

今日のバンドの練習に、

このバンドで、半年前まで、ベースを弾いていた、

大学のサークルに入学当初から、あこがれている先輩が、

顔を出してくれました。

そこで、

自分の楽器を、ちょっと弾いてもらったところ、

自分とは、まったく違う、力強い響きと、ビート。

最近、ちょっとは上達したかな、と、自負していたけれど、

目標とすべきものには、

まだまだ、少しもたどり着いていないということを実感して、

軽くへこみました。


そして、その先輩が、

国試直後でも、練習していた、ということと、

少しも衰えを見せない演奏をきいて、

社会人になって、

どんなに忙しくても、どんなに辛くても、

楽器をあきらめることは、決してしない、と

心に決めた一日でした。

長い学生生活に終止符を打ちました。

小学校に入学したときから考えて、

まる18年間。

学生、というモラトリアムな立場に甘えてきた自分ですが、

4月からは、社会人。

すべて、自分の責任の下、

判断を下すようになるわけです。

気を引き締めて、

いきましょう。

親戚のおじいさんに言われたのですが、

久しぶりに、オーケストラを聴きました。

チャイコフスキーづくしの曲目で、

歌劇『エフゲニー・オネーギン』、

ピアノコンチェルト第1番、

交響曲第6番『悲愴』。

チャイコはすごい。

けど、キャッチーです。

それにしても、

オーケストラを聴くと、

自分の中の音楽が、

クラシックを基に、形成されているな、と

実感します。

だから、オブリガードが好きなんだろうな。
