Curry, set

I had full course of curry at Indian restaurant Kumari near my house.

First of all, lightly toasted snack like thing was there, then a salad
with nuts onion, and spicy hot pepper.

After them, there was very interesting dish, Samosa chat. Samosa is
the fried sheet of flour, shaped like tetrapods. But in the Samosa
chat, there were broken Samosa, and the taste was really nice! Then,
there was tandoori ram chop, and checken salad. Actually, there were
so many vegitable with the course.

Then, the main dish was of course curry and nann. Today I selected
Parak shrimp curry, spinach based curry with shrimp.

The desert was mango pudding and chai.

I was absolutely full, and my mind was also fulfilled. I thought that
it should be good to have curry full course once a year, but not so
often.

My uncle have sent me two bottles of wine he said that these vintage
wines are good to taste after 20 years!! I will become about 50 years
old then. I wonder how I can reserve it and how not to forget them...

Sky

Today's weather was so wired.

It was very fine until the afternoon, then it rained so much, like a a
squall.

After that, in some hours, it became sunny again.

Then, there are clouds, and the reflection of that was not usual
color, includes some warm colors.

The sky is very interesting, because it looks the same at a glance,
but it is absolutely different when you see concentrated. Also, it
looks static, no move, at a glance, but actually it changes time to
time, the clouds creep and the color changes dynamic.

I like looking up the sky, because it makes me very calm. And it looks
as if it represents all the elements in the nature, on the earth.

Parade of Candy

Papabubble, one of my favorite shop of candy.

This candy is like the one in Japanese traditional one, Kintaro ame.
This means you can see the same face even if you cut the different
place of the candy.

The origin of papabubble is Kintaro ame, actually, and the owner of
this shop has inspired with the one in Japan, then arranged it to
European style.

Anway, the candy by papabubble is very cute, also delicious!

Try it, and you must like it!

Adzuki

I like adzuki.

I like rice cake.

Zenzai is one of my favorite foods.

Rolling

There are no "enough" or "appropriate" with working. Once a new task or project starts, some works related to that comes after and after, like rolling.

But I like to be in the stream and find the finishing point. Sometimes it vanishes to only one point, it is also interesting.

Master of cook

Today, I went to a wedding party of one of my friends.
the place was named Riviera, where the dishes are featured.

Because it was a restaurant, once the party started, the cooks appeared in the kitchen, actually, the kitchen was opened to the hall, and the chief cook, I though, explained about all the dishes for the party. Needless to say, the foods were absolutely nice!

I scarecely have such a gorgeous dishes, but I thought that these kind of foods are good if it is once a month...

Hot day

Today, it was like summer day. Weather report says that it was as hot as the usual day in the middle of July! Almost summer! This year is so crazy weather.
Some says that it is the effect of global warming.

Also, as I have wrote before, there are sudden rain like squall in tropical area.

I can't say what is the cause of the weather changing, but I'm so nervous with the temperature get higher, because I dislike to be in hot...

Rusk

Gouter de Roi, one of the most famous rusk in Japan. The producer is
Gateau Festa Harada. This rusk is made with French bread, which is
harder than usual bread because it don't use egg.

The texture of this rusk is very light, and the sugar on the surface
is less than usual one. Very delicious and it feels like
sophisticated, or chic.

If you don't like usual rusk, which taste too sweet and hard, I
recommend this one to you.

Aroma diffuser

I've got an aroma diffuser from one of my friends.

The smell is very important for making the atmosphere. I like the
smell of citrus, such as orange and grape fruits. This kind of smell
makes me healthy and stronger. That is because I like the Earl gray,
which is bergamot flavored tea.

The white plate is shining, it makes all the things look beautiful.

IDEE

I've already known about the shop's name IDEE, but today I realized
that this shop is one of the entity of MUJI.

The items sold with MUJI brand is very simple, and it is originally
created, on the othe hand, at IDEE shop, there are various items with
different manufacturer, maybe this is called the select shop. The two
have different customer segment. But also the two things at each
shops, MUJI and IDEE, causes no mismatching, quite interesting.

Anyway, I've got a book that includes items for IDEE. All of them are
sophisticated. I hope I can arrange my home like the room in this book.

Early bird

These days, I usually go to the office at 7:00 am. Then, I am the
early bird at my office.

Sometimes, in the station, there is no people. I like the air, no one
is there.

But it is amazing how early I get up, someone is in the train. There
is no case that I am the one in the car. I want to experince it someday.

Garlic

These days, I changed my eating style to semi-macrobiotic, I mean
"semi" for not intending to but side effect of my familly's life style.

Because of the eating style, I scarecely have animal originated
protein. Also, I don't have stimulus things, too hot, too spicy or
kind of that.

Today, I had a bagle with various kind of spices, includes garlic. I
don't know if it directly effected or not, but I felt that my stomach
works different from usual today.

I think that changing the style is not bad, because the all the things
I have now is absolutely good for my health, but it is boring if I
came to be unable to take stimulus foods.

The balancing is quite difficult.

Soba

I like Soba more than Udon. But the taste of Soba depends on the water
and the flour. In some area far from urban, you can enjoy delicious
Soba.

But in Tokyo, the water is not good, hence the taste of Soba is not so
good even in some expensive restaurant.

Yesterday, I had delicious Soba at Japanese restaurant in the Four
Seasons Hotel. It was absolutely delicious. I guess the water used for
this Soba, even boiling the noodle, is not usual, but mineral water or
kinds.

I want to find some restaurant where I can enjoy delicious Soba in
reasonable cost, but it is absolutely difficult...

Cet difficile

Today, I did programming with VBA. This is not for my essential task, but helping the one of my colleague's tasks.

Just calculating is not difficult at all when you program. The difficult point and I'm not good at is the interface. Actually, there are many functions relevant to interface with VBA, because the task I'm trying to realize reals with excel spreadsheet. You cannot imagine which kind of bug occurs until you try to execute it. There are some specific things with spreadsheet, especially the displaying format.

Another thing that annoys me during programming is system call. Fortunatelly, I don't need system call function for today's program.

Additionally, one of the most important things with programming is to write it easy to understand, using comment, following coding rules, and naming rules. I've learned about the coding rule for java and C / C++, but not for VBA. I'll try to learn it when I have a time. As far as I know, there are not so many people who is strict to these kind of rules for VBA...

Staub

I've ordered staub yesterday, and today, it arrived at my home.

As you can see, the size is smaller than usual one, but the
specification is same as the bigger ones.

Using staub, you can cook food with no water! Amazing! There is an
explanation that the water inside the food becomes steam, then it
becomes a drop of water when the steam touches the cover of the pot.
Then the drop falls to the food again, and it is the reason why this
doesn't need additional water.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to cooking with this wonderful tool.

Tomato

So cute tomato!

These tomatos came to my house in the box!

It is so fresh one, so I cooked it as cold spaghetti sauce. These kind
of dishes are so favorable in summer seasons!

Doughnut

Today, I'm coming to Jiyugaoka, one of the most fashionable town in
Tokyo.

There is a doughnut shop that I wanted to come for a year, actually
there is a branch shop in Asagaya, my home town, but I had no
opportunity to come to.

The shop is named Hara doughnut, the speciality of this shop is the
ingredient. The doughnut sold at this shop includes Okara, the remain
of making Tofu. Okara includes so many nutrition that it is also used
for some Japanese dishes.

The doughnut was so delicious, not only the smell, but also the
texture. Also there are many unique doughnuts such as Kinako, powder
of soy beans, or spinach.

I tried just two of them, Kinako and plain, hence I'll try other ones
for the next time!

Natural bread

Have you ever tasted German bread? In the ingredients, wild yeast is
used to bake.

Today I had a bread baked with wild yeast. It was really good taste,
it tastes a little sour, the unique taste of wild yeast.

With the bread, I had Echire butter, one of the most famous butter in
the world, imported from France. This is one of my favorite things.

Next month, I'll trip to France, so I'm looking forward to go shopping
and buy many things includes Echire butter.

Paragliding

Can you see what is in this picture?

There is a person paragliding with a fan on the back, and after that,
there are three Koinobori, flying carps colored.

Of course, this is not usual thing, but you can scarecely see it other
than in Japan!

Anyway, it is hard to recognize that there are three flying carps...

Soumen

Today, I had Soumen, cold white noodle made with flour.

Different from usual way of eating, I arranged it like a salad with
noodle.

The toppings are lettuce, carrot, komatsuna-vegitable, seaweed and
koya-dofu, dried soybean curd.

Taste of summer in Japan!

Bonsai

Bonsai, the traditional thing in Japan. This is a miniture garden with
small pine tree.

Can you see the moss on the ground of Bonsai? So beautiful. Perhaps
the sense that I can feel the moss beautiful is unique but sensitive
feeling in Japan I think. When I see, hear, taste and feel the
traditional things in Japan, I always feel that I'm so happy to be
born in Japan.

Kawane

Today, I'm comming to Kawane, near the Senzu station of Oigawa
railway. Oigawa railway is famous for the SL.

There I came here for collecting tea leaves, but I cannot do this
time, because it was too early for it. Ordinary year, this season,
golden week, is the best season for collecting tea leaves, but this
year, it was much colder than usual. Hence the frost was caused and it
damaged the leaves terribly.

Finally, we decided that we should go back to Tokyo and return for
collecting leaves in the mid of May.

I don't know I can come again this year because of my work, but I do
come again in next year and after.

Sushi

Today I'm conning to Shimizu port.

There is a large market which is opened for ordinary people. You can
buy various sea foods. Specifically, Yui is near Shimizu, so you can
enjoy Sakura shrimp, small red shrimps and looks like Sakura, the
cherry blossoms.

I took a lunch here, Nigiri zushi. My favorite one is Anago, the sea
eel, and that was extremely large that it is placed across the board
of dish.

Additionally saying, I like the soup with laver, dried Ulva. The taste
was very natural, feel like the salt in the sea.

I'd like to buy the laver as a suvenier for myself.

Under costruction

Can you read all the characters?

This unique sign was on a wall of an under constructed building.

So interesting one!

But who do you think will read whole the sentence? I cannot imagine...
