Sweets, macrobiotic

Today's breakfast was macrobiotic sweets, apple compote and tarte tatin.
Usually, these kind of sweets taste, especially post-taste, too sweet.
But this time, they didn't taste the sweet sticky feeling at all.
I think that is because the ingredient doesn't include white sugar but include another thing, like agave syrup or the kind.
There are so amazing, but interesting things with macrobiotic.
