Following the previous topic, today's theme is one.

One has similar specification with zero; multiplied or dividend with one, the number doesn't change.

When I started to write blog, I wrote review on newly released CDs. And after that, I started to upload photos around me, which include seasonal things.

I think, when you post something on the web, the content should include something useful for the readers.

If you just want to explain your thought, you don't need blog and twitter or kind of things can be the substitute.

Now, I'm looking for the reason why I express myself on the web. There are huge amount of information, like a flood. Even in this situation, if you express something in the world of Internet, you need some reason for being there, or the topics becomes garbage.

As a result, the question what to write on the blog becomes the question why you exists here. Do you know the answer? No one knows.

Time flies

A proverb says, time flies like an arrow.

And in Japan, the old name of the month December is Shiwasu, it consists of two characters; one is Shi, means teacher, and the other is Haseru, means running. As a results, the two characters means teacher run about because of his business, and it indicates that December is as busy as that teacher run about, and it also means that December passes so fast.

Now I have many things to do within this year. I have to schedule carefully, or I would loose the chance just running about.

Today, I had a lesson of cooking.
And cooked chestnut sweet, called Kuri Kinton.
The chestnut was special one, so it was absolutely nice even it was just mushed and smoothed.

The day before holiday

I like to stay up late in the day before weekend or holiday.
There are plenty of time and you don't have to care of tomorrow's work.
But staying up too late wastes my time of the day after for sleeping.
Everything should be kept in appropriate range.

What I cannot stop

The things which effects our body, brain and other parts is mostly comfortable, tastes good or something toxic.
That should be because that people goes to the easy ways.
The only exception is Work. There is a word workaholic. I don't know the mechanism of being toxic to working. Money? Status? Or any other things?

Sweets, macrobiotic

Today's breakfast was macrobiotic sweets, apple compote and tarte tatin.
Usually, these kind of sweets taste, especially post-taste, too sweet.
But this time, they didn't taste the sweet sticky feeling at all.
I think that is because the ingredient doesn't include white sugar but include another thing, like agave syrup or the kind.
There are so amazing, but interesting things with macrobiotic.

It is hard to obtain someone's credit, it is very easy to loose it.

Satisfaction

What is the factor on your satisfaction?

Sleep? Food? Hobby? Work?

I believe that the happiness of someone satisfies you the most.

Boring

When you assume something as boring, the reason should be inside you.

That should be because of lack of your knowledge, or your way of thinking.

Every feelings are came out from yourself, so every negative feelings are crystalized from part of yourself.

You can change your feelings by noticing that.

Coat

Today, I started to wear a coat in weekdays, with suits.

Last year and before, I haven't wear coats until January. There is no reason but just I could endure the coldness in winter. But this year, I couldn't bear, and pick up one from the closet.

Actually, my weight has lowered a little this year. But I supposed that I came to be weakened to the environmental change. I don't know the reason is just staying inside and don't do any sports, or taking age...

Anyway, I have quit jogging since this April, this is true.

Sooner or later, I should restart jogging.

These days, there are some opportunity to read comics. Actually, I rarely read comics, because there are so many books that I want to read and I haven't finished yet.

But reading comics, this is like watching a movie, and some of them are so dynamic, dramatic and filled with messages, and mostly the episode comes into our heart directly, following our ideal story.

Now, I'm going to start reading another comic tonight...

Shirasu rice bowl

Today, I had Shirasu rice bowl, rice bowl with whitebait.

Shirasu is one of the famous food around Enoshima, Shonan.

But today's one is so special because there are two different whitebait, dried one and raw one. Mh, so delicious!

Natto

Natto, fermented soy, traditional food in Japan.

I don't like the smell, and even who like this taste, most people don't like this smell.

Once I have heard that the smell of Natto comes from the case, made with plastic.

Originally, Natto have been fermented covered with straws, and that don't smell at all.

So, I tried the one with straw, today.
I realized that the smell is absolutely decreased compared with usual one, with plastic case.

But one problem us that each of the soy beans are sticky with the straws, and it is quite difficult to put the Natto out from straws.

Comparing the smell and convenience, I'll choose the convenience...

Photo and balance

Once, I have read in a magazine about the composition technique.

The article says that dividing the canvas into 3 parts, or place one object as 1 third size.

I don't know why this makes the photo balanced, but it is certainly stable and very balanced composition, I thought.

Also, this is also important for art to place "blank" in the piece. Sometimes, we afraid that there is blank space, but this is very important not to place unnecessary things and keep necessary space.

The same thing is applied to the music. Silence makes the sound after silence stands out. As the gap becomes larger, the existing thing stands out more.

There are many things that seems to be trivial and unnecessary but potentially essential and important.

Today, I went to the hotel Mandarine Oriental, for a seminar of ERM., enterprise risk management.

Actually, I've been here about 2 months ago, for a sue diligence meeting. Same as that time, during the coffee break time, I could find some snacks with coffee there.

And today, even this was just second time, I thought that I'd like to stay at this hotel as a customer.

Today, I have implemented a program with VBA.

Then, I tried to use array as a return of one function, but I've found I couldn't.

Then, realized that in case of C or C+, I used to use pointer, and also in the case of Java, I use constructer, and in the case of C#, I use iterator.

This reminded me of the mind I programer. Today, I was reminded that I'm happy that I've experienced, studied programing in various languages.

Half understood

This is the most dangerous thing that we assume that we understood something.

In case of that, people think that they understood that without any reason and they don't act to know about it more.

A famous philosopher said, "I know that I don't know".

Also, knowing something also includes various meaning; just heard about it, understood it and experienced it.

Maybe, our recognition, or belief should be the most dangerous and not credible thing.

Wedding

Today was one of my best friends' wedding party.

He is a member of my band, and we have been playing together for about 6 or more years.

And today, I had played with him at the after party of wedding. Also, I have in charge of the party facilitator, so I have planned and prepared for many things, such as planning schedule, sharing information, etc.

After the party, I have received a present from him, actually I and 2 more friends was the facilitator, too. And three of us have got the same bag.

At home, after coming back from the party, when I opened the bag, I found the contents was a pants, with very sexy drawing. I was very surprised, but also thought that the present was how he is, and laughed.

Today I've got so warm and happy feeling.

Base cafe

Today, I'm coming to an event at base cafe, Kichijoji.

This event is related to the release on one book; Recipe of Vegetables.

Here, you can enjoy various kind of dishes, and all the dishes are made with vegetables, not with animal protein.

And today, I could enjoy so many kinds of dips, such as balsamic vinegar, pumpkin seed, peanut butter, basil taste, and so on.

As for all the dishes I enjoyed today, their recipes are included in the book.

Now, I imagine that I'm tasting them at home, wonderful!

Dislike someone?

Yes, I have one colleague whom I dislike. Honestly saying, I don't dislike himself, but I dislike his action and way of thinking.

Maybe, the reason why I dislike him is that his approach to do various things are so different from that of mine. And there should be people who agree with him and like him.
But as for myself, it wasn't.

Actually, I tend to judge whether the person is enemy of not at a glance.

But I believe that my intuition or first impression is mostly correct, of course not 100 percent, but near.

Now I'm looking for the way how not to dislike person. But this is opposite way of thinking that judging person with first impression. Do I have to change my belief one hundred eighty? Probably, I need aufheben in order to beat myself.

Today, I had a dish with lightly saut d salmon with dill.

At first, I didn't realize that the herb was dill because mostly this herb is placed with smoked salmon, not saut d.

But that was absolutely good, in specific, the cool and light flavor of the herb made the taste of salmon so nice.

The elements of the dish was not different from usual one, but once the recipe changes, it becomes so different flavor, I realized today.

Eye of the typhoon

There is a tune named "Eye of the hurricane", composed by Herbie Hancock. This is one of my favorite tune wrote by him. This theme reminds me the speed of hurricane, and very cool one.

Today, I had a live and at the same time, one typhoon was approaching to the Tokyo metropolitan area.

I've played some tunes that can compete typhoon, and fortunately, the typhoon have changed the direction to the pacific sea. And the end of the live, it stopped raining.

By the way, at the eye of the typhoon, it becomes absolutely calm, and now, I wonder how about the hurricane.

Only thing I now about the hurricane is that the house of Dorothy have blow out in The Wizard of Oz.

Obligation and responsibility

Mostly, people can achieve rights with acquitting responsibility.

But these days, there are so many people who forget to accomplish responsibilities and just require his rights.

Obligation is one of the elements that people tend to avoid. Because accomplishing obligation occurs so much stress.

But I think, any things that is conduct in the society includes some one at least one person who takes responsibility.

Nothing can be accomplished without manager, and this is the most important part of any things.

This is the reason why I think the payment for the prime minister in Japan is too small.

PMBOK

I'm now joining a project and doing some tasks relevant to project management.

There are some structured and organized methodology for project management.

Also, there are so many best practice for project management, too.

One of the organized one is named PMBOK, stands for project management body of knowledge. This is one of the standards, and used for various kinds of project.

Now. I'm reading it and take it into the real project.

Actually, the element of the method is absolutely simple thing, but sometimes in a project, you tend to loose that simple things. This mean that even simple and fundamental thing, it is difficult to do it as described in text books.

I think that same thing can be mentioned for the management approach suggested by Peter Drucker. Each of his words are so simple and natural, but it is absolutely difficult to do this.

Chance

A chance, came up to myself today. This must be the trigger to increase level up with myself.

I know the situation now is better than ordinary ones, but also think that I must think of improving and developing current status.

I'm now wondering what is the best option. Staying current status is of course easy way for me. But I shouldn't select conservative one, and live aggressively, this is one of the solutions.

I'd like to find the best way for me, but it is not simple one...

Try doing your best, and go the straight way. That should be the nearest approach to the goal.

In one of the book I read, there was a basic way of thinking.

Simplify everything

This makes efficiency, innovation, and the art.

Simplify means reducing the things not important things. And the essential thing remains. There the potential energy is to be dazzle with being simplified.

Now, I have so many, various things to do. But categorizing and reducing unimportant things, my work should be sharpen and the quality should increase, I believe.

Beatles

There are so many admirable artists, but my favorites are following 3; Stevie Wonder, the Beatles and Michael Jackson.

And sometimes, the tunes by Beatles are arranged to various genre. One of my favorite is Come Together. Many jazz musicians covers this tune, and most time, both the original one and arranged one are so cool.

Now, I'm thinking of purchasing the compilation of the Beatles' tunes. It must be filled with so Manu masterpieces.

Risk

Today, I went to a talk show of one of my favorite jazz musician.

In is words, there was a phrase, "take a risk".

Sometimes, we tend to think that we have to eliminate risks, but this is not always best option.

If you avoid risk, you may loose the chance to obtain some return.

Mostly the director or the board of directors of companies think of that, and they evaluate the loss which may caused with risk, and the lost chance avoiding risk.

Now, I'm taking very conservative ways, I think. And tend to think not to see the lost chance.

This is the time that I must think of the way of living, taking risks.

These days, I'm doing various field of tasks; such as underwriting, investment, personal information, and system.

On the other hand, one of my colleague does just one genre of task, just the asset management.

I work through about 12 hours or more, and he works about 8 hours.

I'm always busy and scheduling even 5 minutes, and he manages the time so roughly.

Which is better for working environment? It depends.

Anyway, I like being busy and working, and learning.

I don't want to stop running.

So, I should be keen to the turbulence in front of myself, and sensitive to all the phenomena around me. I think, this is kind of game. And I'm enjoying the game called "life" beating weakness inside myself.

Bug or Specification

Today, I've revised a program that I've asked to implement.

At that time, I defined the spec and designed the structure, then implemented it.

Actually, the specification was very complexed, such as various input data and various exceptions.

Then, defined one input data, and implemented one procedure. Today, I was asked that the format of the input data was changed, and revise the program as following the change.

In particular, I implemented the procedure by abstracting, so the change was absolutely easy; just changed several parameters. But I found that the previous spec didn't match the previous test data. Is it the miss on design or implementation? I thought about it, but I couldn't find the reason, and of course, the program was approved by the user when I implemented it.

So amazing thing it is. Is it caused by midgets?

Japanese dinner

Today, I had a cup of miso soup and rice for a dinner. This relaxes me and it makes me feel at home.

Always when I have miso soup, it reminds me that I am so happy to be born in Japan. I think, the foods in Japan, even if it is foreign style dishes, is the best in the world; there are various tastes, the tastes are so delicate, and elaborating the taste of the components themselves.

Power

Today, one of the biggest event, committee, in my team was easily rescheduled. It was because the vice president of the parent company of our company, Japanese entity, is going to come and wanted to have a meeting.

I know that the value of the very important persons is so precious than ours, and the power of then is too.

But I wonder that these kind of occasion, the power is utilized like a weapon, is appropriate for a company, and liberal society.

Concert

Today, I had a concert of the orchestra that I belong to since March.

I was invited because the concert master was my friend in university and have been good friend for about ten years!

But just last month, it was decided that he was to move to Hong Kong. So he decided that he just continue to play until this concert, and then for a some years, he is going to leave from this orchestra.

Fortunately, I could be friend with most of the members in this orchestra and I could continue playing here without my original friend.

Now I'm thinking of two things; one is the connection between people. It is very interesting that the connection spread like a web, and sometimes, I can reach the one who I have already known.

Edge of cliff

Now I feel like running the edge of cliff.
This is because I have so many things to manage these days.
Most of them are to be completed in a month. But I afraid just one mistook leads me to failure.
Now, I'm running, but I must run concretely.

Lever

I scarcely eat organ, but today, I went to a restaurant, Kin-shita, golden tongue, this restaurant was famous for lever.
Mostly, lever smells and you cannot eat without spice or kind of flavor oil, such as sesame oil.
But the lever in this restaurant didn't smell at all, and we enjoyed it with light salted sauce. It was so amazing and precious experience.
Although it was absolutely different from usual ones, I don't want to go there to eat it. Because I don't like the lever so much and it was too expensive; actually, it was 1,400 yen for one plate, includes 6 pieces...

Electric Jar

Yesterday, electric jar in my house suddenly broke. That was the one I purchased five years ago.

Most of the electric tools were purchased about ten years ago; when I started to live in Tokyo. And most cases, the electric tools breaks in ten years, the only exception is PC. As the machines are simple in the perspective of electric structure, it becomes more sound and not breakable.

There is a famous quote, Sony timer; this means most of the Sony's products breaks three years after purchase, this is the timing that the guarantee term just terminated. But I think, this phenomena is caused with the series of products, most of them are applied complicated mechanism, sensitive sensors, etc.

Now, I'm considering about purchasing new jar or not. Actually, I can eat rice with some pans already I have, such as high pressure pan. Considering the taste of rice cooked with jar and pan, it is needless to say that the one cooked with pan is more delicious.

I'm going to put trial term if I can manage without jar for some weeks.

Practical thinking

Mostly, we think things following the one in front of us. This means that our thoughts are expanded from some seed, which is in our mind. This is to say, thinking based of nothing, sometimes this ability is called "the imagination", is absolutely difficult.

We rely on the things almost exist, and as a result, there are so many similar things.

Of course, abstraction from actual things is sometimes required ability, and congestion is too. These two process is the way of accelerating things; especially thinking. Sometimes this is called knowledge management.

But referring something is different from making the same things without thinking of the basic purpose of sone action.

There are so many knowledge that others have experienced, and we can enjoy them with little effort. But as the knowledge increases, it comes to be more important to recognize the base point of the things.

Now I'm reading a book written about Heidegger. In this book, the very famous book, Being and Time, is discussed in this book.
Existence of something, this has been one of the biggest issue to be discussed for a long time, and so many philosopher have had many quote. One of the most famous one is, cogito ergo sum, in Latin; I think therefore I am, in English, by Descartes.
No one can argue that he or she exists for 100 percent, because the reason or the probe is placed based on our existence.
Some years ago, there was a movie that deals the perception of existence, named The Matrix. The concept is absolutely interesting.
Anyway, proving our existence is one of the biggest issue for us and philosophy.

Kick off

Today, I had a kick off meeting of new project.

Actually, this one is the continuous one from last 3 months. During this project, I have learned so many, management, English, due diligence and many other things.

And this time, I was pointed to be the secretariat of our business function, risk management. This project continues until December of next year. I have hope, but also a bit nervous feeling, because of the increase of my workload. Simply thinking, my task will become doubled. So I have to manage my time more efficient than now.

Yesterday, I've read a book written by one famous designer. He developed the skill of ordering, clearing and restructuring, by breaking down things to small units and deduct needless things. Now, this is the skill that is required to myself.

I'd like to read the book again and remind it to myself.

Dungeon

Subway is like a web under the ground.

And the station is sometimes like a dungeon. I always think like this when I transfer at Otemachi station.

The mysterious feeling, as if in the dungeon, search for treasure, must be caused with the atmosphere and the darkness of under ground world.

Generally speaking, most creatures are living on the ground. And of course, we human beings are so. We feel scared when we are in the dark or narrow room. But also, we expect something mysterious, amazing to the darkness. I think one of the reason is that we are still unknown about the under ground world. There should be so many unveiled things under the sea, or near center of the earth.

We tend to look up the sky, and look for new discovery to the space, universe; macro perspective. But I think there should be so many amazing things remain around us, under us.

Test is the thing that I dislike the most.

I dislike the sounding, and the procedure, and many things relevant to this.

But actually, testing is one of the most important things for doing everything.

Today, I tested some software that I have designed spending long time. It was not easy, actually very complicated, and many cases for testing.

Finally I could complete it. My eyes are so tired that I could hardly read any more documents.

Colleagues

Actually, I have some friends, colleagues in the office, that is because I have joined to this company interimly, not soon after graduating the university, but changed job.

Today, I went to hang out with some of my colleagues. I have been familiar with them because we took the same training in the same term. And we have talked about many things, including the things related to jobs and not relevant things.

Bur during the time, the topic that we spent more time for discussing is about family. Actually, at there, about 5 of 7 was married, and 2 have children.

Making family, and planning family is very difficult, and depends on the sense of worth of two. And mostly, the sense is similar for each males and females, but they are never shared. The one good thing in this discussion was that I could realize, recognize the sense as female, and as mother.

Grape

Grape is one of my favorite food. Once I start to eat it, I can't stop eating it until I finish all of them on the dish.

I really appreciate that I was born in the world that grape exist.

Reconcile

Reconciling something seems to be boring, sometimes. But the procedure requires understanding on the things; it means that if you don't have sufficient knowledge for the thing, you cannot find the correspondence between two things.

Also, this procedure requires the ability of concentration. Reconciling more than a hundred items in two different list is absolutely tough.

As a result, I mean that the one who can reconcile something have the ability higher than some level. That is to say that you mustn't ask this procedure to someone who don't have the abilities.

Memory

Sometimes, I memorize things with the visual, such as shape and pattern.

This is useful for the case of memorizing some continuous, patterned things, especially, reading musics.

Now I'm studying kind of laws. There is no pattern, other than the phrasing. Actually, the similar phrasing makes me confused, and misunderstood.

Now, I wonder what is the best method for memorizing these kind of things. Some says that not understanding but memorizing is important. This is one of the things that bothering me.

Evaluation

I had one shocked thing today.

That is some of my tasks, and I thought of them as good resulting. But my boss evaluated them as not bad. As for one task, Even there were some troubles before, I could manage that to be well done, I supposed. But my boss assumed that there were some troubles, that is true. My opinion is that I could manage the situation, and others can never prevent the situation and recover.

The other one is one of the report that I make periodically. I assumed my reported was completed, and that was the best report I can make. But my boss assumed that the report is incomplete and higher level report is required.

I have to accept the suggestion as the hope or expectation on myself, but during today, I'd like to be in the disappointed feelings.

There is a little Okinawa neighbor to my house, named Okinawa Shokudo.

That is a small retailing shop dealing foods in Okinawa. Also, you can enjoy dishes in Okinawa there.

Yesterday, I've been to there and had a dinner there. I ordered one dish named Goya salad, salad with bitter cucumber, I imagined.

And when I saw the salad, I realized that Goya salad just contains Goya. It was not so bitter as I have imagined, and the texture was very fresh and fine! I'd like to know how I can remove the bitterness of the Goya.

Wara, the bakery of rice bread

Today, I'm coming to a bakery dealing rice bread, using rice instead of flour.

This is named Wara.

I have never tried rice bread before. But this time, I tried it and it was so delicious, the texture is a little sticky and so delicious.

In the picture, the bread seems to be kind of Chinese snack, but the taste is as if real flour bread.

Mmh, so happy hour!

Rain, Rain, Go Away

Kamakura

Today, I'm coming to Kamakura.
There is a small line called Eno-den, from Fujisawa to Kamakura.
I took this line to enjoy this small trip of visiting shrines and temples.
First, I've been to Kotokuin, famous for a huge statue of sitting Buddha. Then I moved to Hase-temple.
After that, I've been to Tsurugaoka-Hachmangu, one of the most famous place in Kamakura.
Then, I've been to Toshimaya, the retailer of Hato-sables, bird shaped sables. Looks so cute!
Everything in Kamakura includes something traditional, but also some modern tastes, so amazing.
Unfortunately, it sometimes rained, but I'd like to come again when it is fine.

Hot oil

This is the spicy hot oil, named Ishigaki-jima-rayu, produced in Ishigaki island.
There are many products similar to this, because this oil is absolutely delicious. But the taste was absolutely different; this is more delicious than other similar products.
One of the reason why this is so famous is that the family name of the producer is Pengin, the same sound as penguin in Japanese.
Anyway, it tastes so nice, and this taste matches almost all the foods.
I look forward to using this for the future.

Requests

Requesting someone something is quite difficult.

Even if you prepared for the expected questions, there must be unexpected ones.

Also, the feeling of receiving the request can never be imagined until you become the receiver.

The only way that you can try to imagine the reactions is relying someone to review the request.

But the same problem happens when you request reviewing the request.

Like the wild goose chase.

Forte and piano

Sometimes, the indication of the music is misunderstood.

One of them is the meaning of forte and piano.

Sometimes, forte is assumed to be loud sound, and piano is small.

But they are too simplified.

The meaning that usually understood is too simplified; that is just the result.

Forte is the nervous condition as if the sound is to fall and become small, very unstable condition.

On the other hand, piano is the condition that it is to turn to be loud, very sensitive, keen sound.

As a result, forte becomes loud, and piano becomes small, but this is not essential meaning.

We musicians must understand the original, potential meaning of each signs.

Practice, practice, and practice

Today, I'm coming to a trip for practicing.

I'm going to pass two days with the members of orchestra, and practice just two programs. Seems to be crazy, but I like these kind of stoic practice.

After this practice trip, I have a rehearsal of another band for a whole day.

This weekend is satisfied with music.

Bitter cucumber

I like bitter cucumber, as known as Goya in Japanese.

Because this vegetable is produced in southern area, you can taste it in the summer, and the best season is that season.

Last summer, I have been to Okinawa, southern part of Japan. Then I tried it many times. And I realized the deliciousness of this vegetable.

On the other hand, in this year, I have tried it just once, and it was the last of summer. This is my regression in this summer.

I hope I can try it for more times next year.

Coffee

I scarcely have coffee, because it is too stimulus to me. Mostly, I have tea instead of it.

But today, I had some cups of coffee, because I participated a seminar in the afternoon, and talked wit some person who is from another company.

Then, I came to be like drunk feeling. These days, I changed the eating style, as a result, I came to be sensitive to many stimuli.

I think this is good thing that I can feel, realize whether the things I have is good or bad with the counter effect, but even this is good tendency, I don't want to be bad feeling. I wonder what is the best answer for myself now...

Broken

Today, my PC turned to be broken. When I rebooted the PC from stand by status, it didn't work, any times I try, it stops the booting process.
And I tried any measures I can, bit non of them worked.

Fortunately, I can login with safe mode, also I can see the files from logging in from Mac side.

This time, I realized that working Windows on Mac is very unstable and it can cause many troubles.

Then, I turn to use Mac? This is another business, because all of the softwares that I have is for Windows. I have to consider about the future direction.

Visual memory

Once looking at something, and memory the things in the vision; visual memory may be one of the most useful ability for doing everything.

When I play music, I see the chart at a glance, then play with seeing the forwarding part. This is the essential ability for musicians. They have to see the chart, listen to the surrounding sound, count the rhythm, then feel the beat; so many things we have to do is there.

The ability of memory can be strengthened by practice. That should be the reason why people practice for everything.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

I have been to the university that I graduated.

The atmosphere was absolutely calm, and separated from the REAL world, filled with moneymaking.

I cannot say that which is better to be in the IDEAL world, and research some truth, or living in REAL world and earning money.

Anyway, it was true that I spent very comfortable time at there.

At Yokohama, Birthday of Someone

Today, I spent this night at Yokohama.

One big Ferris Wheel was in front of my room.

It stopped when the time came to be 10pm.

But when it became midnight, the wheel started to rotate slowly.

And after one rotate, it stopped and the calm arrived again.

I considered that some big named person have made the wheel rotate.

The next day, I realized who made the wheel rotate, she had a concert at Yokohama Akarenga next day.

Assumption

When you are trying to verify something, the assumption is the most important and this gives you the biggest impact.

Today, I start verification without checking the assumption. As a result, the verification was failed and I couldn't find the answer that I had expected.


The only thing that I could find today was that the assumption was not correct, preferable, nor appropriate.

Abbreviation

Sometimes I lost during some technical documents in the office.

It is easy to understand if there is only one meaning for one abbreviation. But sometimes there are various meanings for one word. For example, in the insurance industry, in most cases, CV means cash value, the value of the payment in the case of surrender. But these days, I use CV as Current Value that the value of some securities discounted to current status, especially used during the talk about credit risk.

Even if I study various abbreviations, there are so many ones to know, because there are so many financial products newly created.

This is one of my biggest problems.

Concert

Today, I had a concert of an orchestra.

Actually, I was invited to this orchestra just two weeks ago, thus I have no enough time to practice the charts.

Additionally, the tunes were absolutely difficult, it was consists of the Marriage of Figaro, Piano Concerto by Mozart, and Symphony No. 3 "Scotland" by Mendelssohn.

Almost all the tunes includes fast passages that I have never experienced. Therefore I had to practice every night since I have received the charts.

And finally, I became to be able to play it, and I HAD TO play it because there is no one who plays the Contrabass rather than me.

Fortunately, the concert finished with no significant problem, and I could manage to pa\lay the difficult charts.

I don't dislike the difficult charts, actually, I prefer to play it, but I'd like to practice it for a month, at least...

Negative Thoughts

Most of the things in the world have two faces, sometimes one is positive and the other is negative.

In most cases, the negative side is stronger than positive one, and things come to be negative side easily. Especially, the mind set in human beings tends to work as that.

The nature always continues to evolute, and adopt to the surroundings. Sometimes, the weaker one is not selected, and disappears.

But in the case of human beings, I realize most of the things don't evolute to the optimum condition. The negative feelings must be deducted from our selves in the procedure of selection.

Then, I realized that the negative feelings are the key of evolution. This makes us feel bad, and we think that we don't want to be that way.

Some scientist says that chimpanzees never think of tomorrow, in the future. And their imagination is very limited. The human beings thinks about now, future and yesterday, then evaluate it and leverage it to ourselves.

It seems to be unnecessary that we have negative feelings, but it may be the most important thing for our evolution, our future.

Management

Today, I had a training for evaluation in the company.

In the training, one of the criteria is "How they manage the talent of theirselves."

At first, I was thought of utilizing talent should be one of the evaluation criteria, but the item indicate MANAGEMENT of the talent is important.

In most cases, management is the most important thing, and the one who can manage anything is useless, just a staff.

We have to manage ourselves, and our talent, this is the obligation for us, as a member of one organization.
