October festival

Today, I'm coming to the Octoberfest, the festival of beer.

This festival is originally started in Germany, and usually held in October. And it was imported to Japan, and held almost all the year.

This time, I went to Shiba-park, there you can see Tokyo tower, and today, it was lighten up with blue.

Anyway, the beer was absolutely nice! I had Erdinger for the first time, but I was so impressed with it.

Since today, I have thought that Belgian beer is my favorite, but today I realized that German beer is as delicious as it. I'd like to taste more kinds of German beer.

History and Politica

In our country, Japan, most people are not interested in politics.

The election rate continues to decline for many years.

There should be many reasons for this situation, but I think, this is the matter of education system.

Mostly, in elementary, junior high and high school, all of us study history and politics separately. And teachers focuses on the ancient era, so there are so time remain when they reach the modern era.

Actually, history is deeply connected, linked with politics, but we don't realize the linkage between these two, because we aren't studying the modern history adequately.

We assume the historical event as just an event, and no relation with ourselves. Though most historical events are the results of politics.

In the other country, in the history classes, there are many workshop that the historical events are dealt for the case study.

Anyway, I mean that we must have more interest in politics.

Vocabulary

I think that the vocabulary is two sides; one is actual number of words in the memory, and the other is the link of the words with the meaning, situation and the relation with other relevant words.

We Japanese have studied English so long, so they have large number of words in their memory. But they are only linked with the meaning, not with the using situation.

This is one of the reason why we cannot speak English.

The situation is linked with words by explaining something with the words. And the link is strengthened by using it repeatedly.

This may be called "practice".
Practicing is the base of everything.

Animals forget every things, because the cells in the brain dies every second. And practicing is memorizing, saving some information to another new cell.

Practicing is the only way you can keep and develop everything.

Credit Risk

Today, I had a training about credit risk.

In this training, a specialist from the vendor which provides the tool for evaluating credit risk, named Credit Manager.

Within this training, I have learnt about the basic but intuitive explanation on credit risk. The Mean Horizon Value and the Percentiled Horizon Value is the key idea. Simply saying, the difference of these two is the credit risk. And the Percentiled Horizon Value is calculated by conducting Monte Carlo Simulation, legacy method for simulation, using random seeds.

Having today's training, I realized that the mechanism of the Credit Manager is absolutely simple, but utilizing the entire function and verify the result is extremely difficult.

Meanwhile, the specialist have also explained about the sophisticated evaluation method for the credit risk, based on the Barra Model. With this model, we can identify the factors which impact to credit risk intuitively, and this method adopt the multiple variable regression analysis. The vendor updates the coefficients, which was calculated as the answer of the regression formulae, daily. This idea is very simple, but needs some important assumptions, such as the factors, how to select them. Even there are many suspicious, ambiguous, and uncommon assumptions with the method, this seems to be very interesting.

Anyway, I got to know about the credit risk a bit. I'd like to learn more about it and stochastic verification of credit risks.

Corn

Today, I've got some corns from my home town.

I boiled them and tasted at once.

Corn is one of the most delicious vegetables, I think.

Marche de Pain

Today, I went to the Tokyo station, actually, this was the way to go to Hamamatsu, my home town, therefore I looked up some souvenirs to bring.

I went into a market, Dean & Deluca, one of my favorite cafe and shop. There, I realized that they dealt with the bread produced by various bakeries.

It was Saturday, and the day's bread was the one produced by National Depart, placed in Koenji. The breads are colorful and especially, the campagne looks absolutely nice! You can purchase the sac which include several kind of bread and try them, and the price is about 1,000 JPY or less.

I'd like to try them someday in near future.

Today's sky

Mozart

Today, I was invited to join a chamber orchestra, which plays mainly the tunes by Mozart.

This is accidental for me that I was invited to this orchestra. The person who invited me was the member of the orchestra that I started to join since this spring, and this is the one that the person who invited me has established, actually the alumni orchestra of one high school.

And this time, we will play the symphony "Scotland" by Mendelssohn, "Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart and the Piano Concert by Mozart. So amazing programs.

The only concern for me is that the show is almost coming, two weeks later, and I can only attend the G.P., the last rehearsal.

Anyway, I'll try to practice hard and enjoy the concert!

Mandarin Oriental Hotel

Today, I've been to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Tokyo.

The atmosphere was absolutely nice, and in the foyer, there are some snacks and drinks, such as cakes, macaroon, etc.

Actually, the meeting didn't satisfy our requests, we were satisfied with the atmosphere and many other things.

I hope I can come to here again for private, not business.

Skyblue

Sometimes, sky-blue includes various colors other than blue, such as orange, green, red, purple, etc.

Today's sky seems to be just blue, but concentrating to some parts, there are so many discovery.

There are various kinds of clouds in the sky, and each of the clouds poses specific characters.

Mostly, the character is expressed with the shape, but at the same time, the difference of the shape influences the texture of surface. Also, the texture of the cloud affects the colors of the cloud.

It is extremely amazing looking the colors of the cloud changing as the time passes and the light changes.

There are no same shape and colors of clouds, and also you can never see the same color with the same cloud. It continues to change and transform. This is the nature, and this is the art.

DELIZIEFOLLIE

An gelato shop at Roppongi Midtown, named Deliziefollie.

You can select various tastes from several flavors.

This time, my selection is coconuts, mango and peach.

The combination between each of them are absolutely nice!

Musee d'Orsay exhibition at The National Art Center, Tokyo

 Today, I went to the National Art Center in Tokyo to see the exhibition of Orsay Museum.

There were about a hundred pieces from Paris, and they include many famous masterpieces, such as the self portrait of Van Gogh, etc.

One of my favorite one is the Parliament in London, drawn by Claude Monet. The color is consists of various one, blue, pink, yellow, and any other colors, which should not mixed up in ordinary drawings.

Not only the color, but also the perspective and the touch of painting is the favorite point of this piece.

Unfortunately, today is the day before the last day of this exhibition. I regret that I should come earlier, and come to several times.

I hope I can see these kind of paintings, impressionism again, perhaps it may be at Paris!

Cooking exercise

Today, I went to the Kushi Macrobiotic Academy at Kawasaki to have cooking exercise.

Today's menu was curry and nann with fried dried soy cake, pressed salad, a yogurt like drink, peach tasted.

All of them were not so difficult, but I was interested in the macrobiotic way of cooking.

Someday, I would like to learn more, from basis, about macrobiotics.
